Life... where could it be? Down the sewers, soaring through the imaginative clouds, in another dimension, or found in the human heart? I can only envision the scenery way back 2000's when the world we live isn't in the last era or people referred to as "Eternal Damnation."
Advance technology? The Next Pangaea? Rupture? Such things right now are visible, I am one of the few hundred thousands of people scattered throughout the 'Next Pangaea'. If people were to try and travel through space time I wouldn't recommend doing so, the scene is enough to make you live your life to the fullest while we asked ourselves if we'll keep on living.
It's not surprising anymore to think that the next moment might be your last breath, despair has lived through our hearts. Witnessing the last Ice Age I was convinced the end of the road for the Earth is not far anymore, with just morals keeping intact the iron clad rules of the humanity most of us strayed from being sane. Nowadays, people cling to their loved ones using flowery words to create hope, I wasn't that desperate from such things. The white plague killed off my kin, was I surprised?
Living without being aware of the word "emotions", I don't think so. Such childhood memories did I bore and experienced yet, I am still living, existing, finding my teenage life to be an observer of the last moments. What is it like to be with friends going to school every day learning new things? That the school building right now is nowhere to be seen and such friends ended their life without wasting a moment.
*Pitter-patter
Rain danced across the city, with light footsteps I hurriedly went back home. However, it was no mere rain this day and time storms happen almost thrice a week.
It began to thunder.
Hearing the crackling sound of the thunder I somehow got lost amidst the streets. "Things like this doesn't surprise me anymore." I uttered. Electricity flowed through my skin such a phenomenon that I myself personally wasn't aware of however, it wasn't the typical electricity in fact it seems that it wasn't flowing through me a light pole was swallowing the electricity and other matter.
Being the sole observer it didn't occur to me that it was dangerous, I stood there silently like a recorder carving the phenomenon in my memory.
I should've run.... It was the only thing that I regretted... for now...

It was cold. I was shivering. I opened my eyes and gaze at the unusual sky. Wait, where am I? "You seem confused Ai." That voice, it was Anna. Her soft voice stripped my uneasiness.
"Yeah, I remember being in a cave......" After the words came out of my mouth I glanced to the right where Anna's voice was heard yet, she was nowhere to be found. "Did I just hear things?" I muttered.
A sudden gust of wind came uninvited, there was a hole at the ceiling of the cave, the sky was visible. I get up and tried to walk where debris is everywhere to be seen. As I walked a bit further and the exit is on sight a voice reached me. "Hello, is anyone there? Where am I?" I looked at the right side where I found a boy possibly in his 20's lying down with torn clothes. "Who are you? And why are you in this place?" I asked with a worried expression. "I was in the lost city and something strange happened and before I knew it I seem to be in this place." He replied while I tried to help him stand up.
"Anyway we can talk about it later, we should get out of here first by the way, what's your name?" I haven't seen anyone beside me and Anna enter the mountains. "Name? As far as I can remember it was... Failed Prototype 8042" He said depressingly. What name is that? We were at the entrance of the cave. "My name is Aiaen, nice to meet you... uhh..." Unable to call him 'Failed Prototype 8042' I grabbed his hand and wen't running back to the peak of the mountain. "Come with me, you are confused right? And I can't leave you be so come with me for now." I insisted. Instead, he was gazing at the forest. His eyes was filled with nothing. Just what am I getting involved in to?
"That's a forest, you see those trees it's what makes a forest." I slowed down the pace a little bit, I talked about the things he seemed to be interested about. In other words, the things he was staring at intently.
"I only saw forests, birds, and the clouds in picture books. I guess they weren't exaggerating when they said it was spectacular." It felt like he was talking to himself unconsciously, and he wasn't speaking to me.
When we almost reached the peak, a figure was seen running toward us. "Ai...!" It was Anna, and before she could hugged me she stopped and smirked suspiciously. "Oh, my. I never thought you were bold enough to hold a boy's hand menacingly." She jest. "What do you mean menacingly? Anyway there's an explanation for all of this." I let go of his hand yet, he was still looking at the clouds. Well, it's not like I was expecting any reaction or anything.
"Explanation? There's no need Ai, I already get it." She giggled. "*sigh.... Anyway-" As I was about to explain the boy pointed out the food sitting at the plates atop the plastic table. "Are you hungry? I'll explain as we eat." I replied. He walked behind me and seated beside me. "As I've said." I explained what happened after Anna went to paint and how I got bored and found the cave and so on.
Leaving the explanation aside, he was eating the food slowly as if he doesn't even know what is he ingesting.
How did things come to this? I asked myself again. Is this just plain coincidence?
I left the questions flying through my mind for, it was going to be answered sooner or later.

"Hello, is anyone there? Where am I?" I cried. I tried to get up but, I couldn't do so. "Who are you? And why are you in this place?" A voice replied to me. When was the last time I heard someone's voice?
I glanced and within my sight was a girl. A glimmering black hair, a skin that favors white, her soft lips, a voice that filled with hope, and an encounter I wouldn't forget.
She asked me my name. Only able to remember my code name I replied. When the light came in contact with my skin, I feel heat swaying through my body. The so-called trees that gives off fresh air, the clouds I could only envision, and the feeling of a human beside you.
What is this feeling? Finding a reason to live? Is this just a dream?
If it was I don't ever want to wake up.
Not ever again.....
