Sun has been smiling while telling me everything. I can now see how happy he is. "I really don't know she likes me since then, Sky," he said.
"Yah, she's good in hiding her feelings," I replied, but actually, she isn't. If ever Sun is always with us siguro naramdaman na rin niyang may gusto sa kanya si Veia noon pa.
"If only we didn't talk about a romantic relationship we wouldn't become like this," he said. "I really couldn't believe she'd suddenly confess her feelings for me," he said with genuine happiness.
But, sh*t this! Hindi ko kayang maging masaya gaya ni Sun! Now I feel what Hillary felt. It really can kill you! I've been known that this will surely happen, but I didn't know it's this hard to take.
"H-How did she...confess, Sun?" damn that stammering!
"It was very surprising, Sky," he replied. "She suddenly told me, Sun, I like you. I am placed in silence for a seconds after she'd said it and then, boom! I almost jump in the car, Sky," he added.
"You should have asked her sincerely at the beginning, Sun, hindi 'yong dinadaan mo sa joke, edi sana..." I looked at somewhere else, "kayo na ngayon."
Oh, hell, Sky! Talagang kinaya mong sabihin 'yon.
"You're right. But, it no longer matters, we're gonna go there for sure."
"Yeah."
"You should confess to Hillary, Bro, para pareho tayong nanliligaw ngayon."
Hillary...yes the perfect timing to ask him about her. But, how can I start opening about it?
I faked a laugh, "shut up, Sun, I just like her to be my friend," I said.
"Ey! Quit denying, Twin!"
I gave him a death glare, but he just grins, "Bro, isn't Hillary familiar to you?" I asked.
"What?" confusion can be seen on his face.
"I mean, haven't you conversed with her before, like about 4 months ago?"
"Ha?"
"Tss. Understand my question, Sun, matalino ka naman."
"Eh, kasi, Sky, why are you asking such a weird question? I just knew Hillary when she transferred."
Sh*t! Why do I feel like my twin is telling the truth? Then, why the hell Hillary said they've known each other already since October 2018?
"Sky, Sun."
"Mom, Dad!" we both said in a chorus and approached them.
They sat at the couch and we also do the same. Finally, we can have a bonding after how many days of having so hectic schedule.
"Sky, when is your game?" Dad asked.
"Tomorrow," I replied.
"Alright, we'll find time to witness it," Mom said. "To be fair, we've watched Sun's game, we should watch yours, too," she added.
I shook my head, "I know you're too busy these days unlike last week kaya nakapanuod kayo ng laro ni Sun," I smiled, "and, though you're not there physically, I can still feel your presence, Mom, Dad, you know you're always in my heart," I said, sincerely.
"That's my twin!" Sun exclaimed.
"And besides, you watched me already played soccer last week, that's more than enough," I uttered again.
"You sure, Sky?"
"Yes, Dad."
Dad suddenly cleared his throat, "so, Sun, mind to tell us what happened for this day?"
Uh-oh? Does Dad know about Sun and Veia? How? Are they hiring someone to spy on us?
"Alam niyo naman siguro na nagrereport sa'min ang Driver niyo, 'di ba? It's part of his job."
Oh, sh*t! Oo nga pala.
"Who's that girl?" Mom asked.
Sun looked at me, then he said, "that was Veia, Sky's best friend."
Sky's best friend...the sad truth!
Mom was really shocked when she asked, "what?"
"Why, Mom?" I asked.
"Your Mom has been imagining that you, Sky, and Veia will end up together. You're best friends and usually best friends ended up being a lover," Dad said, and the three of us placed in silence.
How I wish, Dad, how I wish.
Mom broke the silence by her faked laughter, "t-that was just an imagination," she said.
"That's impossible," Sun smiled, "Sky likes someone else."
"Sun!" I exclaimed. "I said I just like her to be my friend," I said with knitted brows.
"At sino naman 'yan?"
"Hillary Aeiou Madrigal is her full name, Mom," Sun replied, and I immediately gave him a death glare.
Dad looked at me, then he said, "Sky, I want to meet that girl."
"Dad! You don't need to," mamaya kung ano na lang 'yong isipin ni Hillary kapag sinabi kong gusto siyang makilala ni Daddy. Tsk!
"But, why? Isn't she your friend?" he asked again.
"Why are we talking about her? Aren't we talking about Sun?" I asked back.
"We know who Veia is, but we don't know who's that Hillary," Mom said.
"She's a friend," I replied, somehow irritated. We shouldn't be talking about her. Tsk!
"And, then?" Sun uttered.
Still wearing a death glare I said, "nothing more, nothing less, a friend."
"Alright. Still, I want to meet her. Invite her on your birthday," Dad said, then he stood up, "let's continue the talk later, we'll change clothes first. Sun, tell us more about Veia and, Sky, let's end talking about Hillary, don't spoil us," and he finally went upstairs with Mom.
I took a deep breath while Sun is just showing me his damn smirk, "I'll change clothes, too, Twin," he said. And I thought he's gonna leave, pero bigla na naman siyang nagsalita, "don't worry they will surely like Hillary," then he runs so soon before I could stand up and chase him.
Tsk! I feel like I'm not gonna get some sleep for tonight! There are lots of stuff running in my mind! Hillary and Sun's strange issue, still can't move on that Sun is now finally courting Veia, and my Parents wanting to meet Hillary, and oh, my game for tomorrow-makakapag focus pa kaya ako?
Ugh! My head is aching, but my heart is in pain more. Tsk!
