The weekend's done, intramural is done, too, so back to the usual school days.
But, I guess this girl won't get back from being the girl I used to know? The Hillary I've seen last Friday is also what I am seeing today. Gan'to ba ang epekto kapag nasaktan?
"Hillary! May ganda ka palang itinatago," said Andrei, but Hillary just sat on her chair like she didn't hear anything. "Oh, snob! I like it," he added. Tss, such a dumb as*hole.
"So, you like her since then, Andrei?" Driana asked, all of a sudden. Let me just inform you that Driana likes Andrei and she's been jealous of Hillary. Mas may oras pa kasi si Andrei na magpapansin kay Hillary than to interact with her.
With a surprised face, Andrei mutter, "h-hindi ah."
Everyone is now listening to them, but I don't think Hillary's listening, too, she's busy on her book.
"Kailan ka ba niya pinansin? Hillary's been snobbish. At dahil gusto mo 'yong taong snob edi gusto mo siya," she said, smiling.
"Enough, Driana!" everyone gets startled when Andrei yelled at her, he then walks out.
"Totoo nga," Driana said, bitterly smiling.
So, Andrei bullying Hillary is his way to be noticed by her? To hell with him? Damn immature.
"You now have a rival, Sky," Sun suddenly whispered.
My brows were knitted when I looked at him, "stop pushing me through her, Sun," I pleaded.
He laughed and hit my arm, "alright, chill, Twin," he said and I didn't give him a response. "Ang tagal ni Veia," he uttered after a minute.
It's unusual that Veia gets late, she's always on time.
"Pero, palagay ko she got a problem, Sky. No'ng tumawag ako her voice seems sad, tinanong ko siya sabi niya she's fine," he sighed, "hindi ko na lang pinilit baka sumabog," he added.
Mukhang kilala niya na rin si Veia. Kapag kasi tanong ka nang tanong sa kanya kalaunan sasabog na 'yan at magagalit kaya dapat hintayin mo siya na siya na mismo ang magsasabi sa'yo ng problema niya.
"Oh, there you are," nabuhayan talaga si Sun nang sabihin 'yon, he then gets a chair and sat beside Veia.
I was a little surprised when Hillary looked at me for a second and focused back on reading. Weird, indeed.
"OMG! Si Zeus papunta rito with Jackson and Davis!" Blessy suddenly said. Alright, they're happy admiring those guys let's not ruin it.
"Excuse me?" Zeus said in front of the door. "Is my sister around?" he asked.
"Magkapatid nga sila."
"Bakit 'di magkamukha?"
"Hindi rin magka-apelyido."
"Hillary's adopted?"
"Grabe naman."
That's everyone, talking about the two. I'm also curious about why they haven't had the same surname. It's really strange.
Aside from others who are talking about them, there are also other people-girls specifically-who are talking about the three guys.
"My Davis! Handsome as always."
"Mas gwapo pa rin si Zeus."
"No, my Davis!"
"Sus, walang-wala sila kay Jackson, my one and only."
"Pare-pareho silang almost perfect, period."
Tsk, tsk. Comparing really sucks.
Hillary stood up and it seems like everyone stops murmuring, she then went directly to her brother, "what?" she asked.
"You left your wallet in the car," Zeus replied.
"Thank you," he was about to leave when she gets her wallet, but Zeus called her again, "what now?" she seems irritated.
Woah, is that how she treats his brother?
"Who's S-"
Hillary cuts his word through stepping his brother's foot, "shut up and leave, Kuya," she said.
Oh, she may be changed physically, but her attitude's still the same.
"Alright," Zeus said, hiding his laughter. "I'll go now, Aeiou," he added. Aeiou, Hillary's second name, pronounce as letter A and U, AU.
Hillary just waved her hand, "go now," she said.
Zeus nodded, smiling, "hoy, tama na papacute diyan, sumama lang kayo para magpacute, eh," the last words he uttered before he finally left, dragging his friends.
Before Hillary went back to her seat, she looked at Sun first, who's busy conversing with Veia. I guess her brother knows about her feelings for Sun and he was looking for him earlier, but she stopped him to avoid issues. Hay.
"Can I sit here?" she asked, pertaining to my Twin's seat.
With a smile, I said, "sure."
"OMG? What's going on?"
"Hindi naman pinapansin ni Hillary si Sky, right?"
"Yeah, this is so weird."
"And, don't forget that Hillary commanded Sky on his game last Friday. It was prohibited, but she still did."
"So, there is really something going on?"
Hay.
Everyone stopped blabbering sh*ts about us when Miss Dela Cruz came and started discussing. Sun also never gets back on his seat kaya 'di na rin bumalik si Hillary sa upuan niya since Sun was there.
"Why did you suddenly change?" I asked in the middle of the discussion. And, if we're going to correct her and tell her about it, magagalit lang siya. We tried once na sabihin na sa Dean 'yong gan'tong ginagawa niya napaulit-paulit ang lessons na ibinibigay niya, but the Dean said to understand her dahil may life problem siya at kinakausap naman nila ito, so enough of her. I guess Hillary finds her lesson uninteresting, too, she's been yawning, so I'd decided to just have a chitchat with her.
"Remember the last time Kuya Zeus played basketball and they won?" I nodded, "we had a bet, right? If he loses, he'll treat my lunch for the whole year, but if he wins, I'll be back to who am I at MU..." she paused, "presentable, friendly, admirable, but I can just become presentable once again. Friendly and admirable? I don't think I can bring it back," she added.
That's it! My curiosity was faded. But now, I am wondering if who really was Hillary when she's at MU before her affair with her best friend happened.
After that conversation, silence already swallowed us, but I broke it when I remembered something, "Hillary," I called her.
"Hmm?"
"Ah..." oh, sh*t, how could I say it without making her gets confused? Argh!
"Ano 'yon?" she asked. "Why are you hesitating?" she really did notice it?
"Ah..."
Oh, sh*t! Sa dinami-rami ng dapat kung sabihin para 'di ko lang masabi na Dad wants to meet her 'yon pa 'yong naisip ko. Tsk.
She chuckled, then she said, "para may karamay kang masaktan habang nakikita ang dalawa?"
I knew she'll ask me that.
"H-Hindi naman," I replied.
"Whatever your reason is, sige sasabay ako. Makasabay ko lang si Sun na kumain will be a great achievement kahit kasama rin 'yong taong gusto niya," she said, staring straight to Sun, who's been seriously listening to our teacher, he likes philosophy so much, no wonder, kaya kahit paulit-ulit pa 'yan makikinig talaga siya.
But, I don't know what should be my reaction with what Hillary said.
Paano kaya kami makakamove on nito kung lagi naming nakikita at nakakasama 'yong dalawa? Tsk.
