The trail that Sagar followed lead him towards what seemed to be some kind of cavern. He was positioned quite a distance away from it but his eye sight improved with his body so he had no problem with seeing it from where he was at. Standing outside the cavern there looked to be two people who were guarding the entrance. Sagar figured they were part of larger group that were located here but he couldn't tell if the main group itself was here.
From where he was at he couldn't hear anything that would be going on the cavern and it became too dark to tell if there was any movement from within the cavern either. Sagar decided to wait and see if anything would happen he would make a decision based on what he was able to figure then.
He wasn't too worried about being found out as his elemental fusion with Almighty made his very presence hard to notice and even if they were to notice him they would probably think that they were imagining things as they wouldn't find any traces of any energy coming out from his direction. Still Sagar wanted to be cautious so he kept the distance that he had and did his best to mask his presence into the background of the forest.
A hour or two had passed and Sagar was still waiting to see if anything was going to happen. He honestly didn't think anything would happen anytime soon but he wasn't impatient as he wanted to see this through to confirm what this group was doing. As he was thinking this he noticed a somewhat large group making their towards the cavern. They were still some ways away but Sagar could still feel them.
From what he could tell the group itself numbered about 30 members all of differing levels of power. A good chunk of them were Intermediate warriors with some Novice levels here and there, Sagar wasn't really worried about them. The one's who worried him were the three that were at the Expert level one these guys was even a mage. Sagar wasn't absolutely sure if this was the entire group but the strength of them put him on edge. Individually or in small numbers he was confident in fighting them even if the three Experts were in a group together he was sure he could take them down. All of them as a group though would prove to be a massive headache and while Sagar was sure he would survive the encounter he would probably suffer worse injuries than when he fought the alpha wolf a couple years back.
Sagar waited patiently for them to get closer to them when they came into the clearing near the entrance of the cavern. The two guards greeted the group and one of the leaders began discussing something with the guards. Wanting to hear their conversation Sagar carefully made his way closer to the group. As he was closing the distance he noticed that several members of the group were carrying something in their arms. They were mostly children of varying ages with most of them being slightly younger than Sagar himself, besides the children some members were carrying tied up women of relatively young ages. Lastly some carried sacks filled with so much stuff he looked like the bag itself couldn't handle the weight.
He could already guess about what they've done and been doing since they've been here. Hearing the conversation with the discussion happening between one of the Experts and the guards only helped reaffirm his thoughts.
"Did anything happen while we were gone?", the Expert questioned the two guards.
Both shaking their heads one of them responded in a bored manner, "No unfortunately. It would have been nice to be able to do something other than stand around waiting for everyone to get back."
The Expert nodded his head then turned to look at the rest of the group telling them, "You know where to put the supplies along with the children. As for the women we'll have fun with them later we have some more raiding to do."
Hearing one of their leaders words the rest of the group cheered and rushed inside the cavern to put down what they had gathered. As for the three Experts they began deciding on where to go next.
"Do any of you have any suggestions, we need to hurry and wrap up here before any Imperial Forces show up. We already spent too long here as is.", the Expert that previously spoke before said.
The Expert that was a mage responded to his comrade, "We've ransacked a lot of villages by now but there are many in the surrounding area it's not too much trouble to just pick some randoms out."
The last Expert added, "The villages we could go to are Yellow Village, Dawn Village, and Mountain Village. There both in relatively the same area so we could each lead a group to go through the villages and meet up shortly after that."
They all agreed and began separating the group among themselves. Shortly after that they left the two guards and left towards their next destinations. All this happened while they didn't notice Sagar not too far from where they were at.
Sagar himself was experiencing something he hadn't felt ever since he was reborn. He lived his eleven years of life without anything ever happen to him that would even let him feel it again. It just remained bottled up and was waiting for a chance to release itself that it never had until now.
Anger.
Sagar was feeling anger for the first time since he had been reborn and he was having hard time containing it. Looking at his face you wouldn't be able to guess that he was feeling such a thing as it remained straight and focused. Inside though Sagar felt his insides starting to boil up wanting some kind of outlet for releasing it. He himself didn't know why his hatred was so immense did it have to do with the fact that he never bothered with the feeling till now or was it due to him practicing internal energy that helped bolster it.
The acts committed by this group are atrocious and do warrant anger they were even thinking of raiding his home village where his mother and sibling were. You would think that having a mother at the Saint level would help him not worry and maybe simmer down his rage but the fact that they even were trying to do anything to his family that were just living their lives blazed up his hatred.
Having all these thoughts in his head Sagar himself didn't notice his own shadow starting to take a different shape than his own. It wasn't very identifiable of what it was but it certainly wasn't the shadow of Sagar instead it seemed to be a more insidious shape.
Sagar finished up his thoughts and had only one thing on his mind at the moment. Putting that in the forefront he moved his body and rushed towards the two guards at the cavern entrance.
