It's still early in the morning. It was actually a good day to start week. The weather seemed to be perfect for the weather broadcast said that it won't be too sunny or too cloudy. The birds are even all happily chirping outside. It looks like that It'll indeed be a great day.
A couple of knocking on the door led Levi wondering who could be visiting early in the morning. He hasn't even prepared breakfast yet. When he opened the door, he wasn't surprised who the guest was.
"Oh Kylie. Are you here to wake Audrey up?" He said while still holding a whisk on his left hand for he's trying to make pan cakes.
"Yes. I was calling her multiple of times already but it seems that she's still sleeping, dreaming somewhere."
"Go in. I'll make some breakfast for you."
"Wow thanks! I'll head upstairs now!"
As expected, Audrey was still wrapped up in her blanket like a cinnamon roll. Kylie looked for Audrey's phone and saw that it was on silent mode. That explains why she didn't even hear her ringtone on.
"Audrey wake up." Kylie said while poking her.
"Mmm…" She said as she rolled over ignoring Kylie.
"Sleepy head wake up!"
Kylie kept on calling her name for her to wake up but still no response.
"If you are not going to wake up, I'll start using force."
Still, Audrey remained having her eyes closed. Since it seemed that she won't really wake up without using force, Kylie started poking her sides tickling her.
In an instant Audrey opened her eyes, woke up and said laughing, "Hahaha! Stop! Hahaha please. Hahaha!"
"I won't stop till you're awake."
"Kylie? I'm awake now. Please. Stop. Hahaha!"
"Good! I've been calling you but it looks like that your phone is on silent mode."
Audrey lifted her sheets off and sat up and took her phone from Kylie. She opened it up and saw that there were 20 missed calls from her so she said, "That's a lot of missed call Morning Bear."
"Yes! And as expected you're still sleeping at this hour where you should actually start preparing for school!"
"Ow. Good. Thanks! It seems that I also have forgotten to turn my alarm on. You're a lifesaver."
"Not really. Your brother might wake you up soon too if I didn't."
"Yes. He's actually really sweet. He let me sleep in late and make breakfast for me while I should be the one doing it."
"His cooking is way better than you, you know." Kylie said teasing Audrey.
It recalled her about the last time she ate Audrey's cooking. It was lunch time at school and she brought a pack of lunch just for her. She was really excited to see what it was but when she opened it, she was so surprised to see everything almost burnt out. She thought that the presentation might not be good that it might taste good but she was mistaken. She then suffered from mild diarrhea, while getting herself locked up at the school's comfort room for an hour.
"It pains me to admit but yes. Maybe I should try asking him to teach me how to be good like him."
"Definitely. Ah by the way I almost forgot why I'm here."
Audrey stood up readying her clothes before she went to the bathroom so she said, "What is it?"
"It's actually bad and it's spreading like wildfire."
"What is? Tell me before we both get late for school."
"I swear I didn't do this. The quality of the photo if you look at it was actually bad so it's definitely not me. Besides! I wouldn't betray you!" She said while looking at the photo on her cellphone.
Audrey went towards Kylie and looked at what she is referring to and said, "What are you…! WHAT THE?!"
There was a blurred photo of her and Aiden that seemed to be taken at the park. It was when Aiden embraced her. Her face was not clear and cannot be recognized for her disguise was at the point.
She was thankful that her identity couldn't be seen but when she looked at Aiden she saw how pure his expressions were. Though blurry, he still looks handsome. His facial expression looked worrisome at some point.
Kylie then said, "It's not just this. Look at the comments section! You're famous now."
Audrey scrolled down and saw that there were already so many like and shares. She read a few comments and it says:
"Who is the girl??? I can't see her face at all."
"Who dare steal my Aiden?"
"She must be his girlfriend."
"They look so good together. Just look at how Aiden is embracing her. How sweet!"
"I'm so jealous!"
While looking at some comments, there was a hate comment that somehow terrified her. It says:
"Let's find this girl and make sure that she's someone worthy for our Prince! If not we'll take her down!"
There was a lot of replies from that comment saying:
"I'm in!"
"Let's hope that she's not just some girl!"
"Count me in!"
"Girl you better have the guts to show yourself."
"I'll go start looking for her at school."
"I'm at the same school as Aiden's. I'll go search for her at my school too!"
Audrey looked at Kylie looking like she's just seen a ghost and said, "I'm so dead Kylie! What should we do???"
"I think…we should inform Aiden first before we decide on to something."
"I don't have his number. I can't just go to school and tell him myself that we were screwed. He will surely be surrounded by people trying to know who the identity of his mystery girl."
"Chill freakzilla. I have his number."
"You do?"
"Yes. You dated for a day yet you don't know his number geez! What's with you?!"
"Scold me later about that. Let me borrow your phone quick!"
Audrey then called Aiden and waited for him to pick up. The ringing sound just keeps on making her feel anxious. So, when finally answered, she felt really relieved.
"Hello?" He said in a raspy husky voice.
Audrey wondered if he just woke up. "Aiden. It's Audrey."
"Mnh. Audrey. Good morning."
"Y-yeah. Good morning." Audrey was mesmerized on how beautiful his voice over the phone.
"What time is it?"
"It's just passed 6 in the morning." Before she was completely hypnotized Kylie stabbed her with her elbow on the waist reminding her that she needed to tell him immediately why she called. "Uhm Aiden actually I need to tell you something."
"What is it?" He said in a sheepish voice.
She then told him what she and Kylie found out. She then said, "WE'RE SO SCREWED."
"It seems that we're both screwed."
"What should we do?"
"We have two options."
"Tell me."
"The first one is that we need to keep distance with each other for a while because people will surely be suspicious that you were my girlfriend yesterday since we were often seen to be together most of the time."
"What's the second option?
"The second one is that…you need to take responsibility."
"Take responsibility like how? Tell them I was your fake girlfriend yesterday?"
"Silly, no."
"What should I do then?"
"Be my girlfriend…for real."
