"Tell her to meet me up in the lobby, this is her last chance " Long Xhen snapped coldly at his assistant before ending the call.
Tu Pao could not understand why Ru Aian had kept his boss waiting. He couldn't reach her but didn't have the courage to call his boss and disappoint him again. This was his third attempt already all the other two had not met up to his bosses requirement. Long Xhen had asked him to get someone who was really good in business, Tu pao did not know the specifics behind his bosses request and did not really question it, in this country no one could compete with his boss in making decisions. what worried him was his job, his bosses patience must already be very slim thinking how incompetent he must be. He finally got a very good recommendation, Ru Aian, but now she was no where to be found. He kept dialing her number.
Long Xhen stepped out of his car and into the lobby. He took a seat at a corner where he could observe the door. He looked at his clock. He would only give her ten minutes and that would be it. As for Tu Pao...
Ro Aian just got off the phone with Ro Gian. He told her that she had to meet with her cousin Ro Xin, who would be waiting for her in the lobby of her building. Her uncle had had asked him to go find out how Aian was doing. Aian sighed. She and Xin had been tutored together till they where nine. That was when Aian had finished reading all the books in the Ro mansion. Her uncle had arranged for her to have a different set of tutors. Aian wondered about Xin, she knew that he was managing some of the Ro businesses in this city, but that was it.
As she walked into the building she looked around the lobby searching for Xin. She saw a few couples and a few groups of people sitting together but no sign of Xin. Just when she was about to pull out her phone and contact her father she spotted a lone figure sitting at a far corner in the lobby. He occasionally glanced at his wrist, probably checking the time as if waiting for someone. without thinking twice Ro Aian started towards him.
Long Xhen noticed her immediately she walked in. She was stunningly beautiful, his eyes watched that beautiful face scrunch up as it gazed around looking for someone? Earlier he had been glancing at his watch to check the time, but as she got closer he couldn't shift his gaze from her. Even though his face appeared ice cold he could still feel the slight thump in his heart.
"Excuse me... "
Her voice drew Long Xhen from his thoughts. He realised that he had been staring. Long Xhen searched for what to say to cover up. His eyes suddenly lit up as if realising something.
"what took you so long" he snapped.
His sudden question confused Aian a bit. This man wasn't Xin, she had thought it was him from a distance because except for looking at his watch the man had been looking at her, until he stopped looking at his watch and the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen in the world looked up at her and didn't stop. Aian had wanted to turn away when she got closer and realised it wasn't Xin, but those eyes kept drawing her to him...
" Your so late and you have nothing to say? " Long Xhen said in an irritated tone drawing Aian out of her thoughts.
She opened up her mouth to say something but before the words could leave her mouth. A set of documents landed in front of her on the table separating the two of them. As the man in front of her said one word, "Read"
Aian wanted to say something, but she couldn't resist her usual urge to read. She picked up the first document and started reading. As she read she noticed some slight errors, she subconsciously pulled out a pen from her bag and started making corrections to the document.
