Long Xhen stared at Aian as she picked up each document and read them and occasionally made corrections. He knew this woman was stunningly beautiful, but when she concentrated on something it was as if everything beautiful in the world dulled in comparison to her. Long Xhen stopped his thoughts when he noticed she was almost done with the documents and looked at the document he had initially intended to read.
"Done" Ro Aian said confidently as she handed the document back to Long Xhen. At that moment her phone rang. Aian checked the caller ID, excused herself and left.
Long Xhen picked up the first document. After reading the first page he couldn't stop flipping the pages. His expression slightly tinged with disbelief. He picked up the last document as if to confirm something, After reading through it his hands trembled a bit. Where on earth did Tu Pao find this woman...
Just then he realised something. He looked at the time its was 11:35pm. The lobby had already emptied out and only a few people could be seen. His eyes scanned through the people in the lobby searching for Aian. She was gone. Just at that moment Tu Pao hurried into the lobby.
Aian took off her shoes and changed into her house slippers. she had gotten a call from Ro Xin he explained and apologized for not showing up , he promised to check on her the next day. She was still talking with Ro Xin on the phone as she subconsciously made her way to the left elevator. she punched the button for the seventh floor which was the last floor of the building. that was the only floor which had just two apartments. the rest of the space was made into a luxurious outdoor garden. The doors to the apartments weren't facing each other even though the occupant could just walk across a large corridor to the other side, it was pointless because the building had two pairs of elevators and the west side and east side of the building, so the west elevators delivered Aian right to the front of her door, and her "next door neighbors " where delivered to their apartment by the east elevators, which allowed the occupants to enjoy some privacy while entering and leaving their apartments.
Aian made her way to her bedroom an slipped off her clothes after putting away her things. It was not until Aian turned on the shower that she remembered the man she had met in the lobby. Who was he anyway and why did she feel like she had met him before.
Long Xhen stared at Tu Pao who was standing in the middle of his living room with rage in his eyes. Tu pao had just explained to him that he couldn't contact the woman he had found and when he finally got to her she denied that she was the person he had been looking for and hung up the phone. Tu Pao was pissed off and sent someone to investigate immediately and had rushed over to meet his boss who was waiting in the lobby. Tu Pao stood there trembling at his bosses rage. Long Xhen was angry but he was angry that neither he nor Tu Pao knew who "that woman" was. He didn't even know her name.
He briefly told Tu Pao the incident that had happened, while Tu Pao's head was reeling with a million words. Long Xhen uttered two word. "Find her".
As Tu Pao hurried out. Long Xhen stared at the documents on his table. It was not that Tu Pao was inefficient but that what Long Xhen needed was too rare and he knew it, but He had to keep trying. Now that the "waters were calm" in the business world it was time for him to take the dive that will make him come out on top. The people Tu Pao found were good, but they where not perfect. After they reviewed the documents there will still errors in it when they returned it. the errors were small, but large enough to bring down a business if found by the right person and Long Xhen wouldn't allow that.
He had given the others a week, but that woman had gone through all the documents in only an hour and a half. After he had gone through the documents he realised, there were absolutely no mistakes and she had even corrected a loophole he had spent half an hour to find. Long Xhen's frown deepened. He had to find her.
