Chapter 2 - The old smith

They went off together an odd group of four. The old man with his oak walking stick in his firm right hand and in his less burly left arm and innocent yet surprisingly quiet infant. In the arms of her delicate mother the young two week old girl was constantly in need of mother's affection. As Mallory's mom was able to follow the old man's steps making taking care of her child much easier for Samantha. The old man was unwavering in his step. From his head to his heel he was rigid and strong no sign of pains that typically preyed upon those of older age. He was no ordinary old man as can be seen mystery was his cloak which he wore as a shroud around him and his entire life. In this shroud was his past and even his present. Somehow he came across an infant and how he unexpectedly came to the little town of Belon. Could it be he was running from his past and was seeking escape or was he associated with some great power and was retiring for a life of peace. Yet no one knew that one day he would shape thier little town and even the whole kingdom of Izenlond. When they were halfway there the old man came across a deer. He deftly grabbed a hammer from within his expensive and rich colored bear fur cloak which was made by many different kinds of bear pelt to almost look like camouflage. This hammer was of medium weight but of smaller size. With the quickness of dropping his walking stick and throwing the hammer 30 yards he still managed to hit the head of the buck and smash its skull in for he had accurately judged the distance and the hammar so as to hit the hammer at the bill rather than the handle.
