The boy and girl grew in the safety and security of a caring mother and protection and support of the old man and his fort. Being fed well by his excellent hunting and his occasional trips to Belon. The boy was very different from average boys. The girl and boy lived in the same environment both going out into the woods but the boy quickly became friends with a group of wolves after they tried to attack Mallory. His eyes turned an azere blue and he jumped upon the lead wolf and began to do battle against it. A five year old boy with muscles bulging bigger than the average 15 year old and more skill than a fill grown man managed to defeat the wolf leaving only a 5 claw scratch across his chest. While tossing the wolf into the air and then like a wolf himself declared himself as part of thier pack. Mallory rushed back to her mother declaring " brother has defeated a pack of wolves and his eyes were shining mommy" Samantha grew terrified and wondered what was going on with the boy. She asked the old man "where did you come by this strange child? is he safe to be around? what is wrong with him"? The old man smiled and said "nothing is wrong this boy is different but he will be mighty and he is just as I have hoped and he will be needed soon". Samantha was confused but said no more holding these things in her heart and pondering those words meaning asking herself 'could this man know the child's destiny? can he see the future? Is this strange boy really destined for greatness? Maybe my daughter might be wise to marry this man of potentially great power and stature in the future.
