In the Black Ark, skulls surrounded the white portal wall that Allen made to prevent anyone from touching the Akuma Egg. Their efforts were futile, as there wasn't a single crack to exploit.
"I'm surprised his control over the ark has progressed to the point of being on par with the Earl's." The leading skull comments.
"He's only a human…."
"What's happening? Where's the Egg?" Tyki appears behind them and they jump at attention.
"It's inside, Lord Tyki." They bow while replying.
"Inside? Your telling me that this white wall is covering the Akuma Egg?"
"Yes sir. It's a portal from the white ark."
"….I see…." He touches the scar beneath his suit.
"Why haven't you figured out a way around it?"
"…." the skulls look at each other. "We can't….there isn't a single gap between the two portals that we can exploit. The entire inside of them is a separate space we can't enter."
"Tch…the Earl won't be pleased…."
"…." They were ready to be killed, but something strange happens.
Tyki left without doing so, he didn't even get annoyed like he usually does.
"That's strange…." The leading skull mumbles and the others nod in agreement.
Back at the black order, Allen walked to lulubell who stood up with feline grace. She reapplied her cold expression but he could tell she was ready for combat.
"You're not going to leave, are you?" Allen asks slowly.
"No. I am here under the Earl's order. The Akuma egg doesn't deserve to be with subhumans."
"Why you-!" Some of the finders got agitated and even Chaoji yelled.
He bonded to innocence when he felt the despair of losing his family and friends.
"You're right….this doesn't deserve to be in the Order's hands." Allen caresses the still descending egg just like lulubell was earlier. "However…." He looks at her and his eyes have flecks of gold shocking the Noah. "It doesn't deserve to be with you either. As you are now, at least." He whispers this last bit.
"How dare a mere subhuman-!?" The Noah of Lust's voice was cutoff as Allen seemed to teleport in front of her.
His left arm raised and already swiping at her head.
"Tsk!" She transformed into a large snake and dodged the swipe while launching an attack with her tail at his torso.
Crown Clown's cape deflected the blow and both opponents were pushed backwards.
"Allen…." The exorcists were shocked once more at this.
'He's taking on a Noah, evenly?' Lavi observes with wonder. 'He also seems stronger than when he fought Tyki Mikk.'
The snake hissed and it spat poison at Allen's position. The white haired teen glanced back and clicked his teeth at the line of unconscious bodies. Crown Clown's cape gets larger and surrounds the entire group of humans.
The skulls that were testing their minds, were pushed back by the innocence.
"You should be paying more attention to me." Lulubell's voice was right beside his ear and he saw a panther's claws from behind.
"Ugh!" Allen felt a large wound appear on his back and instantly felt weak.
"ALLEN!?!" Crowley, Lenalee, and Miranda yelled.
"Removing your only defense was a stupid mistake, Allen Walker." Her indifferent voice rang in everybody's ears.
'He saved everybody and yet I….' The Chinese girl felt horrible for her treatment of the boy.
"Heh. It's only a mistake if things go wrong." His voice soft but they could hear the strength it carried. "A minor wound compared to their lives is nothing!" He swipes at her torso and it Knicks her leg when she dodged.
"Hiss!" Lulubell's form trembled and she was back into her human look. "You're strong, I'll give you that…."
"Why thank you…." He scoffs back as his left arm becomes a sword once more.
The two begin to attack one another in rapid succession. Her form changing between land and air animals and Allen using his blade and speed to either block or dodge. They both have minor wounds as a result of their battle and the environment was getting destroyed.
"Ha…ha…..ha…." Allen's body covered in both large and small cuts as he held himself up with his blade.
"Ha...ha….." lulubell herself was in bad shape as she was on her knees with many large wounds.
A deep gash across her stomach, one on her thigh, and another in her back. All weren't healing due to his innocence. Her glare would send most people into hysteria, but Allen merely stared back, she felt fear and respect from this.
"….how…." Her tone deeply wanting to know how he was able to reduce her to this state.
Allen groaned and stood up with both legs. He dragged his blade behind him and walked slowly to her body. The observers watched in silence as he got within a few feet of her. His crown clown flew behind him and reattached to his body.
'Thank you…' he thinks as he felt the cape give him strength enough to move.
[You're welcome….] the female voice of his innocence replies.
The teen felt a presence in his mind come forward at this moment and he knew what it was. He let it partially take over as he felt exhausted from the battle.
"It doesn't matter right now, Lulu…" Allen says her name so gently as crown clown splits into four ribbons and picks her up.
The stinging of innocence didn't come despite her initial flinching at the expectation of pain. Allen frowns and looks at the skulls before noticing the order members watching with glee. He orders them coldly.
"Blind them!" Their bodies obey automatically as they change the seals.
The invisible barrier instantly turned black making the exorcists and finder yell in shock. Link and Lavi felt weird as they saw Allen's lips say 'blind'.
"Did he order the skulls…?" Link asks himself with a whisper. "Then that means…"
"What are you doing, Allen Walker?" Lulubell questioned while feeling the burning pain of the wounds. "Don't you want to show your friends how you kill a Noah?" Her smirk made him frown even more.
"You're wrong Lulu. One, I'm not their friend. And two, I'm not going to kill you. At least, not how you think." He grabs his blade and closes his eyes.
"What do you mean!? Are you going to exorcise me like Tyki Mikk? That won't work, Allen Walker." She scoffs. "Lord Millennium has prevented the worse case scenario from occurring. Tyki is still one of us….as you probably know."
The skulls were confused at this conversation but didn't voice them. They stood still and waited for the order to stop the barrier. Allen felt something deep inside and unleashed as little as he could control. A dark aura flows out of his body and travels to the blade.
It went from white and gold to a combination including black and grey. From Holy to a fusion with demonic. His skin turned grey, but no stigmata formed on his head.
"You- 14th!!? How dare you-" she doesn't continue as the blade sliced her in two.
"Lady Lulubell!!" One of the skulls yells but his body can't move. "Damn it, what is happening!?"
Lulubell didn't feel the burning pain she heard from Tyki Mikk. No, if anything, the thing Allen cut from her felt freeing. Like a weight lifted from her shoulders. Her body fell and was about to hit the ground, but the exorcist caught her.
His sad eyes reminded her of someone, someone she knew but has forgotten for some reason. He carries her in a bridal carry like she's precious to him and leans his head to her ear before she goes unconscious.
"Adam has gone Insane, Lustol. When you awaken, don't let him make you go insane again. I'll be coming for all of you, soon…." Allen's voice spoke without him meaning to and He looks at one of the skulls Before willing it over to him.
Somehow, he knows what he needs to do by instinct. As if he's done it thousands of times before. The skull walks over and awaits his command.
"Take her back to the Black Ark. She needs to rest." His order received a nod and the skull carried his mistress into the black portal below.
Allen looks at the half gone Akuma Egg it begins sinking into his portal that lies inside the black ark. The skulls on that side trying to do everything they can to prevent its disappearance.
"Damn….! It's no use!" They feel the egg is gone and soon, the portal wall dissipates leaving a skull carrying an unconscious Lulubell. They rush to them and the skull carries out the order it's been given.
None of the others stop them, despite their confusion as if the order it received was top priority.
Back in the Black Order, Allen sighed in relief when he felt the Akuma Egg was in its designated area on the White Ark. he wills for the room to be off limits to everybody but him and turns around to the skulls.
"Leave….Tell them nothing until Lustol does." The skulls nod robotically and drop their arms.
The barrier dissipates leaving the group of people inside to fall. The large barrier on the doors also dissipate and it allowed everybody outside to view the carnage.
Hundreds of Akuma body parts and oil covering the entire place. Allen, standing alone amidst this mess looking up at the ceiling. A beam of sunlight seemed to hit him at this moment making the audience awed.
Allen was back in full control of his body and knew that he didn't have much time before he lost consciousness.
"Walker…." Link went forward first and then it was Lavi, Miranda, Kanda, and finally Lenalee.
"Link…I'm tired…" The exorcist says with a whisper. "Can I head to my room?" His question for permission made the inspector nod.
"Thank you…" Allen trudges forward with his innocence still activated. His hood covering half of his face, only showing his mouth.
"…Allen…." Lenalee walks in front of him, but he sidestepped her without stopping once again.
"….." everybody divided around the boy who almost was limping to the hallway.
A certain danger present came from his person. Nobody wanting to stop him, lest they awaken that danger.
'Neah….please…I….' His head feeling like millions of cold needles all inserting themselves into it. 'I need you….'
[…Allen…] Crown Clown was worried for her accommodator.
It felt his connection to the dark matter quicken his awakening as a Noah. It can't even imagine how it would feel for somebody like him, loved by Innocence.
Miranda and Lavi shook themselves from their shock and chased after the boy. They ran to the hall and saw allen using the wall as a way to balance himself, like he wasn't able to hold himself up.
"Allen…!" Miranda yells but the boy didn't stop.
'Neah…I….' His thoughts go to the calming presence of the man and instinctively relates it to the Control Room of the Ark.
A portal appears and he slumped inside of it without a care.
"ALLEN!?!" Lavi yelled and ran forward to catch up, but the portal shattered just as his hand came into contact.
He grasps the air in disbelief, like he couldn't believe what he just witnessed. The rest of the order ran to them to find Miranda crying and saying 'no' on repeat.
"…Walker…" link was worried but steeled his gaze.
"Director Levellier. Allen Walker has escaped into the ark." He reports to the golem that was at his side.
-And the egg?-
-I'm not sure, sir. Walker wasn't coherent and didn't say anything about it.-
-Tch! That damn Noah….Find Him Inspector Link! If he's unable to be found within 5 days, send out a kill order for Allen Walker.-
"Sir." He nods and turns off the golem.
"…so, it's come to this…" Komui covered his eyes with his hat.
Tears fall down his face along with Lavi and Miranda. Kanda was still staring at the sight of the dead Akuma and clenched his hand on his sword.
In the Black Ark, the entire Noah family were in Lulubell's room where she was sleeping soundly. The Earl held his hand on her head and sighs in relief.
"Lulubell is fine. Whatever Allen Walker did, it wasn't what he did to Tyki."
"Oh…." Road sighs in relief along with the rest.
Jasdero and Devit sat on the ground looking at their sister's prone body with sad eyes.
Sheryl, Mightra, Tryde, and Mercym hung back but also worried about her. Tyki was also relieved but felt something off with Lulubell's aura. He held his thoughts inside and waited for the Earl to speak up.
"Now then, what happened?" The entire family looked at the Skulls who were present with Lulubell.
Their gazes of wanting to kill whomever is at fault was clear, yet, the skulls stayed silent.
"Why won't you answer?"
"We've been ordered not to, until Mistress Lulubell does." The leading skull states only for Road to stab it with her candles.
"You. Tell me." The girl looked at the next one.
"We've been ordered not to-" this time, Sheryl used his strings to snap the body of the skull in multiple places.
"….." the skulls don't flinch as the Earl begins to anger.
"Who ordered you?" He asks with a tone the others haven't heard in a long time. Fear.
"Our Master, the 14th Noah. Master Vas-" this skull's head exploded into pulp before he could finish.
The Earl breathing ragged in rage. Road floated to him and touched his head to calm the man.
"Fourteenth?" Tyki asked the room only to be met by silence.
His inner Noah feeling not only rage, but also longing. He couldn't understand why it was feeling both emotions.
"It seems…Allen Walker is the 14th. Like I thought…." The earl's statement made the others gawk at him.
"Did you know, Lord Millennium?" Tryde asks coldly.
"I had my suspicions. In fact, I told her to be extra careful when she was on her mission today….because of Allen Walker." He rubs the unconscious woman's forehead gently.
