Allen was plopped onto the real sofa in the real Control Room. His body losing strength at the same rate as the pain was increasing. His innocence deactivates in response to his pain and he started to scream.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" It was bloodcurdling.
His hands scratched at his forehead causing cuts to form from his fingernails. Blood drips into his eyes but he didn't care for the pain was too much. Inside his body, the part of his heart that was healed with innocence, tore open and started healing again.
"Ugh! Gah!" Blood came out of Allen's mouth. His throat feeling dry and moist at the same time.
He tasted metal and just kept screaming while thrashing around. His body fell from the couch with a sickening thud. Blood constantly leaking out and pooling beneath him.
Soon, his body convulsed and he lost consciousness. Although he did, his mouth still opened to scream and his hands clawed at his head as if it was instinct to do so.
In Allen's mind, tens of millions of fragments of memories appear. All rushing in one direction. All getting absorbed into his brain without his consent. It was like an entire ocean was being filled into a small jar.
All of the Incarnations of the 14th Noah were shown to Allen unwillingly, all at the same time without care for his pain. During this process, he could hear a voice in the distance.
"destroy. Destroy. Destroy! DESTROY! DESTROY!! DESTROY!!! DESTROY EVERYTHING!!!!!" Allen's eyes cried blood and he saw millions of skeletons crying blood as well.
The skeletons surrounded him ready to devour his body to take over. Allen wanted to fight back, but the pain was too much for him.
[Allen….] A voice cut through the skeletons and Neah appeared in front.
Allen felt safe and wanted nothing more than to find comfort in the man.
"Neah…it hurts so much….I never realized how much pain this could bring…." The teen grabs the man's coat and started sobbing.
The pain returned Tenfold at that instant.
"It hurts. It hurts! IT HURTS!" He scratched at his forehead while screaming and Neah gave a sad look.
[Allen…focus on the song….it will help…] he kneeled down and gently hugged the boy to him. The older male begin to sing and in the distance, a musical score was being played.
The boy nodded and as soon as he thought of the song He heard the Music that appeared in his mind that instantly quelled the burning, bloody skeletons. His head no longer feeling like a million needles penetrating, but an ache that would still send any normal human into insanity.
His mind focused on the song letting the pain lessen even further. The memories invade at a slower rate, but still too quickly for his liking. He soon falls completely unconscious, not even dreams occur letting him fall to oblivion like he wanted since the process began.
The skeletons disappeared, letting only memories remain in his mind along with Neah. His face obviously guilty at the boy's situation.
'Sleep now, Allen. You still have another 3 days to go….' He disappears to let the process continue without interference.
In the control room, Allen's forehead split open in the middle to reveal a stigmata. His body transforming underneath his skin to improve every single aspect.
When this process reached the curse, a strange phenomenon occurred. The red scar grew bright like a ruby and his eye activated despite no Akuma being around.
Instead of a glass lens, there is now. A bigger eye that shone gold with a slit for a pupil. It searched for something until it settled on Allen's left arm. A bright green glow could be seen floating above it.
A few seconds later, the eye deactivated and his red scar turned black.
After Allen disappeared, the HQ was in the midst of helping the lab technicians that fainted when Lulubell invaded. Almost all of them are uninjured but some were at the initial onslaught and had large wounds in their bodies.
Lenalee helped them by bringing supplies to whomever needed it, she needed to distract herself from the guilt she's been ignoring the last few weeks.
"I'm so glad Allen showed up!" Johnny cries as he yells happily.
"Yeah, I can't believe how strong he's become…." Reever nodded his head.
Both men bore witness to the complete events of Allen's fight. Even when the barrier became black, they saw him cut the Noah in half with no wounds to show. Just like how it was reported with Tyki Mikk.
They also saw him gently place her in that skull's arms but they decided to leave that out of their story. Allen has had to many bad rumors about him already.
"Are you telling me that the Noah helped us?' A lab tech from America asked in shock.
"Yes. Allen is one of the best exorcists in the order." A different HQ scientist replies.
"But what about…."
"It's lies. That boy is the sweetest person on this planet…." An older woman states.
"Are you all idiots!?" Chaoji yelled to the lab techs angrily. "He helped save a Noah! I've seen him do it!"
"Why would he-?"
"Because he's one of them! He's a traitor and he deserves whatever cruel fate awaits-" he doesn't finish as Lenalee slapped him, hard, on his face.
"ENOUGH!" Tears stream down her cheeks. "Allen…..Allen isn't a monster….nor is he a traitor….he just….wants to save everyone." Her words silenced the area.
"Is that so wrong? Are we so blinded by hate?" Komui hugged her from behind. "I am…was..his friend. Yet I, treated him so badly…I can't take it back and I…." She sobs into his brother's jacket as if to hide from the world.
"….tch!" Chaoji stomped away.
Kanda was on the periphery of the lab and he clenched his hands with his arms crossed. He felt guilty too, treating the Beansprout like a plague. But, he doesn't want to have to kill him as a friend.
'No, I've already killed one friend….and that's one too many…' he walks away with a slower pace than normal.
The previous weeks' events weigh heavily on his mind.
Miranda was helping with the mortally wounded and Lavi went to find Bookman to clear his mind. He finds the old man hiding in the shadows, with his eyes open, staring at everything that has transpired.
"…We have lost a record we should have seen, Junior."
"I know.." the boy nods and stares ahead like his mentor.
"…what weighs on your mind, Lavi?"
"It's Allen. Ever since the announcement, I can't help but feel out of place here."
"…I know what you mean. That boy has worked his way into my heart as well."
"What!?"
"But! We are Bookman. We observe, We record, and We pass down our history. Attachments shouldn't get in the way of our true job."
"I know, old man….I know. It's so hard though…" A tear falls down his dull eye despite trying to prevent them from doing so.
"..."
Three days later, Allen opened his eyes to the world after going through the Noah Process. The first thing he noticed was that his senses were much better than they were before. His eyes could see things much more clearly and he could hear the whistling of the wind inside the ark.
The light bounced off his dark grey skin, but most of all, he felt his left arm that he couldn't before. Yes, there was sensation but it was dull and felt like armor that covered a true flesh arm.
Next, he felt sore. So sore, that when he tried to move he gasped for breath. Eventually, his body got used to it and he lifted his left arm to his face. It was normal, at least for a Noah. Flesh and bone unlike the scaly carapace it used to be.
On the back of his hand was a purple-black tattoo that seemed to be hidden amidst his skin. It glowed a bit and a Allen felt the innocence of Crown Clown was ok. Better than ok if he felt it correctly.
"I need a mirror…" he whispers and a floating object appears in his view.
"Gah!" He jumps back and the mirror shattered into so many pieces, he couldn't see them anymore despite his better eyesight.
[Color me surprised, Allen…] A throaty chuckle disrupted his confusion.
"Neah!" His voice was filled with so much happiness.
[Hehe, it is me. It's good to be back, isn it Allen?]
"Yeah…." He touches the stigmata on his forehead gently. "I feel….complete….no longer walking an unknown path with no idea to my destination." He clenched his other hand.
"Now, I know what I must do…" a purplish green aura surrounds him as he begins to activate his innocence.
The normal white coat appears, but it's more tame now. No longer as cartoonish, as if he matured. On the bottom of his cape, to show the world, appeared various black symbols as if they were a musical score. Inside, lay the reverse of color with more symbols but not of music.
It was of various objects a clown would use for juggling. Bowling pins, balls, hammers, anything you can think of that would be used by a traveling clown was etched on the inside of his cape.
His arms no longer unable to be used normally, but still covered in black and white. However, they had the same patterns on them. His hands covered in fingerless gloves of white and black lines that meet at the wrist which continue on in a swirl pattern. Until they reach his shoulder.
The mask on his hood was sharper, but still looked the same as before, albeit with darker tones. The curved lines end in points that could cut a person's finger at the slightest touch.
"Wow….Crown Clown…" his voice filled with love that the innocence returned with a hum.
[It's amazing how powerful you've become Allen. Our original Incarnation might barely be equal.] Neah's voice was awed at his transformation.
"Really….?" Allen didn't quite believe it but he willed for another mirror to appear.
This time, he took a good look at his reflection. The first thing he noticed was the black curse mark, he instinctively knew it no longer just sensed Akuma. It now could see Innocence and it's range increased to over ten miles.
He could also control it perfectly, so no more of it activating on its own. He could still sense the things he sees without it, though to a much lesser degree.
His eyes were the next to be noticed as they were pure gold, with slits for his pupil.
"Vastator…." Allen whispers his Noah name that was given to him by his parents. Or Vastator's parents? He couldn't differentiate them that easily.
"You were right Neah….I…feel the same yet different. All of who came before me are me just as I am them as well." He spoke to himself but still waited for a reply.
[Told you, Allen….Now, what shall we do? Where do you wish to walk to next, my Host?]
"Isn't it obvious? To our family….of course."
[Yes. To 'our' family….]
"But what course of action would be best? Adam loves a good show and he plans things to make them big…." Allen sits on the bed to think.
"Apocryphos….Exorcists….Central….Akuma…" He mumbles and his brain was working at maximum capacity.
A Noah is able to use 100% of their body at all times. Their brain's are able to handle much more loads than subhumans allowing them to learn quicker and think better. A scenario of his own plays in Allen's mind that links all of
The mini-goals together for his big one.
[Hahaha! That's amazing Allen! You're going to use every single player in the game?]
"It's only fair, right? They had so much fun using me first….that's why…." He stands up and his skin starts to return to a normal human's.
"We need to head back to the Order…." His voice no longer so melodious, but still filled with confidence.
His left hand had a green tattoo instead of purplish-black. While his eyes returned to their silvery-gray.
"It's time for me to play my own game…."
