Next day after lunch, Kyra had astronomy class. She remembered that she and Xavier never planned when to meet for their assignment. But when Kyra entered the theatre style classroom, she didn't spot Xavier anywhere. Professor Till entered the class but there was still no trace of Xavier anywhere. Maybe he isn't coming.
Halfway through the class, suddenly the front main door opened and entered Xavier; wearing a black shirt, sleeves rolled up to his arms, showing off his arm muscles. Kyra could swear she heard a few sighs from the back seats and also the whispers of 'so hot' and 'so sexy' were going around the female population of the class. It looked like a part of the movie where the hero makes an entry with all his beauty and glory intact.
Kyra shook her head. It's not time for day dreaming. Xavier swept his eyes across the whole class and finally settled on Kyra. His legs took him to the seat beside her, which was empty and sat down. Kyra could feel her heart rate faster as she was trying to calm herself down. Though her face showed nothing, her insides were raging.
"Try to attend classes on time Mr. Ralston." Professor Till stared at him and spoke. Xavier nodded, "Sorry Professor." He said simply before leaning back on his seat. He retrieved a notebook and a pen, opened it and started drawing again. This time...different than the previous one. Professor continued with his lesson while Kyra was trying to take a peek on the notebook in front of the guy beside her.
"We haven't discussed when to meet for the assignment." Xavier spoke while scribbling on his notebook. It looked like it was Big Foot this time.
"Yeah, I noticed."
Xavier simply nodded and said nothing more. By the time class ended, Xavier was completed with his drawing. It was Big Foot.
"Let's meet on Saturday, I have plans on Friday, "Xavier said packing his belongings. "You don't have any plans on Saturday, right?" He asked Kyra settling his gaze in her. There was nothing in his eyes. But still somewhere, it held something. "No, I don't have any plans."
Kyra replied.
"It's settled then. I'll pick you up at a reasonable time and I know a nice place for this purpose." Xavier let out an easy smile which by the way wasn't easy in any way.
Kyra nodded. She couldn't say anything. She knew she was not a socializing person...but she was trying. She didn't have any plans, it was not a big deal.
"By the way, do you have any plans tonight?" Xavier suddenly asked. Kyra frowned, "No, why are you asking?" He smirked, "You'll see." He simply said and left her hanging with her thoughts. What did he mean by that?
Kyra didn't thought of that anymore than she already was thinking. When classes ended for the day, she went straight towards her car. Since the parking was big, but it was beside the soccer ground. As she was crossing the boundaries, she saw Xavier.
In a soccer jersey.
He plays soccer? That came as a surprise. But maybe it shouldn't be anymore surprising. She didn't know a thing about him so, why does it even matter?
Kyra climbed inside her car and clutched the steering tight, until her knuckles went white. She took a deep breath and started the car and left.

"You know, you bi**hes are boring me too hell!" Greg said through the phone and Kyra and Alicia laughed. They were all in conference with each other except Danna. She had her part time job so, she was busy.
"Then you know, you should take a hike down your lane." Alicia replied.
"Well girl, I'm not like a certain someone who wouldn't take an opportunity, to grab the muscle man tight in her arms. And take him to the ride of his lifetime...when he lives just across the hall."
"Why would you again pick up that topic? I thought you'd forget by now." Kyra muttered while biting her pencil.
"Sorry sweetie, I can't forget a live man candy just waiting to be sucked and tasted." Greg replied with a lip smacking sound.
"Ewww!" Both the girls made the sound in unison.
"Whatever! I thought we'd discuss about the notes, why are we talking about 'him'? You know, I kind of regret now telling you he's my neighbor" Kyra voiced out.
"No, you don't. And you also know, that talking about a man candy like him is always more interesting than discussing about the plant's reproduction parts." Maybe Greg was right but Kyra didn't want to talk about him right now. He already said he'd come tonight at her door. Well...not exactly come but he did ask her about her plans. So, maybe...
But she didn't inform Greg or Alicia about it. She knows that Greg is going to make assumptions bigger than the size of Jupiter. And she doesn't want to deal with that now anyway. But she was curious too about what does he wants to talk about.
Three friends conversed for another half an hour, when they finally called it an end. Kyra looked at time: it was 6:45 pm. She was getting a little nervous on why did Xavier asked about her plans for tonight. God, she should've said she had plans. But then what? She was not big on parties neither she had any friends other than Danna, Alicia and Greg which only that Danna was at her job, Greg had to go to some study meeting or something and Alicia was...well Alicia. She started pacing on the carpet of her living room when she heard a knock on her front door.
She scrambled to get to door but her foot got stuck and she nearly ate the carpet. Anyhow, she got up again and opened the door. Xavier was standing outside with his hands filled with eggs and some chocolate chip bags. What the hell?
"What's this?" Kyra narrowed her eyes like she was trying to figure out what is going through his mind. But he just smiled, flashing his teeth and Kyra was sure her face went to the color of tomatoes.
Kyra closed her eyes and took a heavy breath and let it out slowly. So, this was his plan.
