Xavier came out of the building and climbed inside his Rolls Royce. He did a reverse turn and got out of the parking lot before he can lose control and knock at Kyra's door.
He felt a little weird with all that. He never imagined anyone coming to talk to him willingly except for few women who wanted to sleep with him. He was always shooing them away. But it wasn't even a full day and he was already feeling giddy at the thought of Kyra talking to him.
Man...he sounded like a teenage girl!
Xavier remembered the way Kyra's hazel eyes lit up when he said he was living in that building too. It felt too good. And her dimple...god her dimple! When she smiled at him, he was already losing himself but when he noticed the dimple, he was sure his heart was going to beat outside his chest.
If Raven, Ray or or his roommate Tyler came to know about this side of Xavier, they would never let it go for their whole lives. They would laugh at his face. Great!
Xavier sighed and reeved up his wheels and went towards to the direction of gym. He needed to blow it off before anyone gets to know what's going on in his mind.
He parked his car at the lot and went inside the gym. After stripping down to his gym shorts he went towards the weight lift. He had to calm himself enough to function properly.
After spending 2 hours in gym, he finally put down his dumbbells and as he was just going to the nearest shower stall, his phone rang. He wiped his face with a face towel before checking the caller id; it was Raven.
"What happened?"
"Hey man! You were supposed to be meeting us an hour ago...where are you?" Raven was the playboy of the group. Charmer, flirtatious and perfect playboy looks that never failed to get women in his bed. But if anyone can mistake him for a no brainner, they are going to be dead wrong.
"I'm gym, will be there in 20." Xavier informed as he already was heading towards to shower stalls.
"OK...but I'm gonna ask you why going gym suddenly, when you arrive here." Raven knew this type of thing was not Xavier. Something was up.
"It's nothing and don't you try to sniff like a dog." Xavier cut the call without waiting for a reply and went into nearby stall. After having a quick shower and dress up, he climbed on his Royce and drove to the place they were supposed to meet. Although, the main purpose to go gym was to push Kyra's image out of his system but he soon realized that spending 2 hours didn't put a single dent on his memories. The hell...!
Xavier was not hopeful about anything in his life. But this time he dared to be hopeful and he doesn't even know that he was. He didn't realize that he was hopeful to see 'her'.

Kyra was still plastered with a smile on her face. It was already time for dinner and she still couldn't forget what happened this afternoon. She made one more new friend and not just that, she felt so happy about it that in that trance, she ended up making a room full of cupcakes.
Oh well...
Even when she called her brothers, they suspected something was up. "Did something happen today bun?" Kaiden asked suspiciously.
"No, nothing special. But I did made some new friends." She informed her brothers of the events of the day except for the parts where she was too distracted to concentrate on other things thinking about certain someone.
"You sure honey bun, nothing else?" Keith was still worried so assured them that everything was fine while looking at the room full of cupcakes. Nothing else, yeah... right!
Kyra was sure she couldn't finish these herself, so instead to eating it all, she decided she will give some these to her new friends as good wishes. Yeah, that better.
Suddenly, she remembered that she also had a neighbor as friend. And it was a even a good gesture if she could give them as a new neighbor. Of course the main purpose was to get a glimpse of Xavier again, but she was not going to admit that.
Kyra packed a few cupcakes, changed into something good instead of her pajamas and went out. Across her apartment, was a door. She approached in front of the door, took a deep breath and knocked 2 times and waited. After few moments when door still didn't open, she lifted her hand again to knock when suddenly the door opened and a shirtless, tall guy on his full glory stood in front of her.
He must be the roommate, Kyla thought. The guy cleared his throat to catch her attention.
"Can I help with anything, gorgeous?"
"Yeah. Actually I'm your new neighbor and I made some cupcakes and decided to share it with my neighbors as a good gesture." Kyra smiled and handed the cupcakes.
"Thanks. That's really good gesture. By the way, I'm Tyler." The guy smiled revealing his perfect teeth and dimples on both his cheeks. The guy looked young enough to be in college like her and was really drop dead gorgeous. No doubt, he would get more than just attention from women with a drool worthy body of six packs as a package.
"I'm Kyra. It's nice meet you." Kyra introduced herself to Tyler but her attention was somewhere else. She tried to craned up her neck to see whether she can catch any glimpse of Xavier. But she found none.
"Well gorgeous Kyra, I'm right here." Tyler reminded her. He didn't understand that when he was standing right in front of her—shirtless—why didn't she stared at him like every other women. Instead, she was trying to peek inside
"Oh...sorry, that's really rude of me. Well, I was just wondering if you live alone?" Kyra knew she couldn't ask out directly about Xavier. She didn't want to appear clingy or something.
"Uh...no, I have a roommate but he's out for his part time job. And wouldn't be back before at least one more hour." Tyler informed.
"Oh, it's ok. Thanks by the way. it's really nice to meet you Tyler." Kyra gave a last smile and turned for her apartment. After she closed the door from inside, she realized she was feeling really disappointed. She felt a big pang of disappointment in her heart that made her a little sad. And she didn't understand why she felt like that. She just met the guy today for God's sake!
After Kyra finished her work and got into the bed clutching her plushy bear tighly and into the deep sleep. Hoping for something good for next day.
