When the three maids finally left Harumi grapt the letter again. She read the letter a dozen times and every time she read it she got madder and madder. Who was this Nohime chick that just assumed she could just do whatever she want without thinking about anybody else? This girl written this letter as if she asked her first and Harumi did her a favor, like lending her her math notes. She was furious! And the worst part of all this was that she was now married to Oda Nobunaga. For crying out loud, she just turned eighteen two months ago. She was way to young to be married! With a mad expression on her face and her arms crossed over her chest she stared out of the window. She was already kinda sleepy but she needed to focus. She couldn't be drowsy when Nobunaga arrived. She had to be on top of her game so she could kick him in the gut when he tries anything.
Harumi had to use all her strength to keep awake. Her eyelids felt so heavy and she just wanted to sleep. Maybe he didn't come tonight. Just as she thought that she heard the sliding door open and close. She was wide awake in an instant. Her whole body tensed while she looked at the door that separated her bedroom with the other room. Slowly the door slid open. Harumi blinked a few times. At first she only saw the outline of a dark figure. Nobunaga slowly walked in the room. Now that she wasn't wearing a doily on her head his beauty was even more apparent. His long hair was sleekly pulled backwards. The kimono he was wearing was the same one as the one he wore earlier, but wasn't tied as neatly as before. Around him hung a faint smell of alcohol and tobacco smoke.
