Chapter 7 - a letter, from me to me?

Harumi slowly went in to shock while she tried to wrap her head around what was happening. Why did her finger hurt? She didn't notice that a maid took her away from the big hall to an other area in the castle. She slowly turned white while she studied her bleeding finger. The maid put her down on a cushion and bandaged her finger.

"Hime-sama, we were asked to give you this." The maid said while she handed Harumi a letter. Slightly stunned she took the letter and opened the letter while the maid excused herself. Harumi stared a moment at the letter before she opened it.

Hello,

My name is lady Nohime, some people also call me Kicho. I am the oldest daughter of Saito Dosan and Omi no Kata. You should have already met them. I want to thank you for the opportunity you are giving me. I was supposed to marry Oda Nobunaga. However, I am in love with another man. However, the man that I love is a simple working man, my parents would never approve. At the time you read this letter I am already eloped with the man I love. This is all thanks to you. Since you are my carbon copy, you will take my place and marry Oda Nobunaga. I want to thank you again for taking my place and making sure everything will go smoothly.

I know you are from the future, and i do not know how much you know about this time. Currently you are in the eighteenth year of the Tenbun era in the Owari region. I strongly advice you to not mention to anyone that you are not me. If you do they will assume you kidnapped me and kill you. For your own safety it is best to keep al this information to yourself, if you want to live another day.

Yours truly,

Lady Nohime

Harumi read the letter a hundred times before she could slightly grasp what was happening. She was furious with rage. Who gave this woman the the right to take me away from my own life and put me here? Harumi thought while steam came out of her ears. She couldn't believe it! She still had so many questions.
