After the kind of weird goodbye Harumi was put in a palanquin. She sat on a pillow on the floor of the wooden box while they departed. In the beginning she looked outside with amusement. She still couldn't believe her mind could come up with all this stuff! But after a while it got boring. The scenery changed to slowly for her liking and everything was literally the same. She had the feeling they past the same farm for the third time now. After what welt like hours she has slumped down and leaned with her back against the back wall of the palanquin. Why was this dream so boring? She yawned while she tried to stretch her legs. How could she wake herself up?
"Harumi, wake up." She told herself but nothing happend. It didn't matter how many times she told herself to wake up, it didn't work.
When the palanquin finally stoped Harumi was so frustrated and bored that she didn't know what to do with herself. When they departed it was still early in the day. Now she could barely see the last rays of sunlight above the trees. When she got out of the palanquin she had the feeling she needed to learn how to walk all over again. When she saw where she was she completely forgot all the pain her body was feeling. Her eyes were big while she looked at the immense castle before her. She didn't have enough time to take it all in, before she new it she was swept away by some maids. They weren't happy, apparently she was late. Harumi didn't even know why she was late and what the event was but since all the maids where in a frenzy she didn't bother asking. They fixed her hair and retouched her make-up. They also put some sort of cloth on her head wat covered her face. She had the feeling she was wearing a doily. Then it hit her, she probably dreamed about a wedding. She couldn't wait to see what kind of man her mind had imagined as her husband to be.
The room the wedding ceremony was held was big but still packed to the brim with people. Inside the room there was this strange aura. Joyful, but also bloodlust or something like it. Harumi couldn't place the feeling exactly. She didn't really cared either since the man sitting before her was probably the most hansom male specimen she had ever laid eyes on. Even the hottest, most handsom celebrity's would be considered ugly in comparison to him. The man had long raven black hair that had a beautiful natural shine to it. A few strands where tied together so it didn't fall in his face. He had a sharp and strong jaw, high cheekbones, thin lips and clear eyes that could penetrate your soul with one look. She felt her cheeks burning up and was happy with the veil so the guy wouldn't see her blush.
Some guy was talking but Harumi couldn't concentrate on anything he was saying. Every time she stole a peak at the guy in front of her, her mind went completely blank. How can somebody be so beautiful? She asked herself. Then the guy that did al the talking grabbed her hand. Bewildered she looked at the old man while he got a gold needle out of a small chest. First he pricked the ring finger of the guy. At the tip was a small drop of blood while he held his hand in a position so the blood wouldn't drip. Then he used the same needle and pricked her ring finger. Ouwtch! That hurt... What, what?!? She stared at her bleeding finger. Why did it hurt? In dreams you weren't suppose to feel pain... What was happening? The older man pushed their bloody fingers together and everybody in the room started to clap. What was going on? Harumi felt dizzy, this could not be happening!
