"Yup, they are my new students after all…" Thrasher said to Purple Monarch.
"Ah… okay, well… make sure they know that brother," Pinnacle Lilly could tell her brother was really getting into his role as leader. When she was young, this training others habit he had happened to most of the students in his school. After a year of them receiving bruises from his rigorous training, he was home schooled.
This homeschooling was just the tip of the ice burg in the Corey Daring home routine. When he wasn't training, he was learning, or trying to escape. However, his master had ears like a hawk, and his only solace was teaching his sisters. Unfortunately, by the time Pell was five, she was under his master's tutelage, and he couldn't even give her items now.
"They know… It's in their hearts, I could tell..."
Purple Monarch laughed uproariously. "Ha, well, let's hope they survive…!" He cracked his knuckles and then began heading towards his entry point. The mine had fifteen entrances that branched off, and it was an exceptionally important point in the game. Once the mine was cleared, the first level 40 fifteen player dungeon would open.
Fifteen player dungeons required fifteen people, and Thrasher was hoping to acquire some new hands. However, he gave the new recruits a simple test. There was a suspension bridge connecting two mountain tops over a gorge, and if the new recruits didn't fall, he told them he'd grant them two epic equipment's each.
Before he did that, though, he granted them a few demonstrations on proper warrior technique. For the two mages, he taught them dodging arts, and for the others, he taught them a simple jab, parry, and round house routine.
"Well, I think falling is good, don't you think?" Thrasher turned towards Pell who giggled.
"Ah, brother… just don't kill them okay?" She seriously looked up at him with a scowl. "Because I know you mean well, but your training is too intense!"
"Ah, indeed, luckily, it's all virtual reality!" Thrasher brushed off Pell's complaint and then headed into his tunnel. When he entered, they turned on team chat, in order to be able to talk to each other. Fortunately, the monsters were level 40, and with his expertise, and previous equipment, he started in the cave.
….
A level 1 man stood in the center of a pack of fallen level 20 king bears.
King Bear
Level 20
HP 1 / 4000
MP 0 / 500
Status: Fear
The level 1 man was a master of martial arts, and he didn't desire to level up. These foes seemed unworthy, and he sent out a simple jab at another king bear.
"Rawr!"
The king bear had extremely high agility for such a large creature, but every time he tried to hit the level 1 man, he somehow missed. The level 1 man scoffed and then jumped up sending his knee into the bears head.
"Critical hit has been dealt!"
"Combo has reached 55!"
"You've struck the same point 105 times."
The messages rang in the level one masters' ear before he sent a whiplash kick into the bears chest. At this time, the bear could only go flying as fear spread through his bones. The man hopped down and took out a dagger as the giant King Bear awaited for the small but ruthless man to end his pitiful life.
A second later, a voice came out of that man.
"Ha, perhaps you'd be able to beat Thrasher, but to me, you're nothing!" He smiled before throwing an apple to the bear. "However, would you like to follow me?"
The level one man had roughly 10 characters behind him. However, he was not a druid, but simply looking for new students. Unfortunately, he had yet to figure out that these weren't real creatures, and were just monsters in the game. However, even still, the bear got up, and readily began following him.
"I shall name you, Little Foot…" The man pat the King Bear on the head before its whimpering turned to a cheery smile.
"Now, who should I find who is worthy for me to level up with?"
The man, Thrasher's master, walked towards the respawned World Boss, the level 35 Seven Hour Turtle.
"Hmmm, you my friend, look worthy!" He said this as his crowd of beasts charged forwards, and the next second he drew a small bamboo sword.
