Chapter 36 - Encounter

"Pell… please stop playing with older brother," Thrasher said.

A second ago, she was starting to tell a painful story, and then it sounded like the call dropped.

'She was just getting to the good part…' Thrasher complained internally as he walked the mines path.

It seemed the The further he walked the larger the undead zombies got. This was definitely very bad dungeon design, and it made it hard for him to advance.

Thrasher sighed and sent out two [air slashes], and then activated his third arm skill.

Now that he was level 34, he could also use [wall run]. This skill led him directly to the giant and disgusting zombie that was attacking fiercely with [venom slash]. The next second, the zombies head plopped off lowering its HP by -5000.

Once the monsters head fell off, Thrasher sat on top of the monster's body as it tried to grab at him hopelessly. A few seconds later, the large monster fell.

"Ding!"

"You have leveled up to level 35!"

"You've acquired 500 teal coins."

A second later, after picking up a teal , Pell's voice finally entered his ears.

"So, did you guy's enjoy the story…" Pell giggled with somewhat of a wicked laugh.

"Uhm, Pell, we lost connection…" Thrasher said, "I hope you realize what this means."

Pell shook her head. "Uhm, I guess that means I should tell it again?"

"No, it means you shouldn't say it or brother here will tell a story about you," Thrasher responded.

"Ugh, I'm just trying to tell them how cool you are brother! Please?"

"Fine, but it would be better if we survived this dungeon first," Thrasher said.

"Uhm, I'm already at the first boss…"

Pell laughed and then Dream Knight's voice entered. "Yup, I just made it to the first boss, too, captain! However, Pell… you shouldn't be like your brother and mute yourself!"

"Ah, I indeed learned my brother's bad habits…"

Thrasher scratched his head. "Wait, did we lose connection, Pell?"

"Yup," She finally got up and looked at the giant boss at the end of the tunnel. "However, I've never seen such a huge monster before… It looks like master on a bad Sunday…"

Thrasher gulped before he realized he was nowhere near the first boss. "Wow, that sounds impressive Pell, however, are you really at the first boss?"

"I am too, captain!" Dream Knight said with a smile on her face. "It was really easy!"

"You guys are lying… I don't even see the end of the tunnel yet, or did they give me the harder tunnel…"

"Uhm, I don't think they'd give you the harder tunnel, brother. You're still too slow!"

Thrasher sighed remembering his old races with his master. "I-I'm going to mute myself now! Stop bothering me so I can go faster!"

Purple Monarch's voice then entered the conversation. "Yes, hurry up guild head. I'm already here too!"

….

Humble Paradise just entered Royal Capital City.

He was with a team of five men, and five women.

These five men and five women were elites trained by Seventeen Venom for over fifteen years in virtual reality games. The interesting thing was that only five years passed in the real world, and this made these men exceptionally dangerous.

"So, I guess I'll just call Thrasher, and go forward with the plan?"

"Yup… we'll kill him then and torture his teammates. Don't forget to ask him to bring his teammates!"

"Alright," Humble Paradise responded to the girl in front of him, "However, he's actually a really good fighter…. Do you guys think you'll be okay?"

"Of course! I've trained twenty two years!"

"You're only seventeen," Humble Paradise said snarkily.

"Yes, but remember, virtual reality slows down time! It's a shame that he's in a dungeon right now…"

Humble Paradise nodded his head as he tried to DM Thrasher again for the seventeenth time. Every time he messaged him, he'd receive the same message, player in dungeon. Unfortunately, this meant he'd have to wait with these lunatics who killed even more people than he had.

To be a part of his guild, you had to be trained as an assassin, but you didn't have to be completely heartless. However, it was like these ten gave their hearts to the devil in exchange for blades. He, on the other hand, could only find himself in awe watching them attempt to challenge each other.

The girl in front of him was named Crushing Wave, and she was the only one not practicing her technique.

"Uhm, well, just tell us what he says!"

The girl Crushing Wave sighed and walked over to her team.

"Yes, of course, masters."

Humble Paradise sighed and then turned around. A second later, he noticed a level 15 man with a bunch of beasts behind him, and a weird sword in his hand.

"Hi… I'm looking for Thrasher… Did I just hear you talking about him?"
