Multidimensional travel is a very fickle thing, and it can be very dangerous if used incorrectly or done hastily. Such thoughts are useless, however in face of complete and utter destruction. When you face the fear of a powerful, deadly and hostile unknown, any way out is a good way out, no matter how unlikely it may seem. 

Such were the final thoughts of humanity in this universe.
