During their early years, Betty and Ellen were split apart since Ellen's family had to relocate. Getting into contact was really hard and it took time infact years for these two friends to get back in contact. The two decided to spend the summer at Ellen's. In spite of their separation for years these teenage girls find it difficult to make ends meet. Ellen thinks Betty is too old fashioned and Betty also thinks Ellen is bossy and mean. Worse of all, Betty falls in love with Ellen's crush and the two end in a hot quarrel.
Are these naive teenagers going to bury the hatchet and have the best summer or they are going destroy it with their likes and dislikes.
