Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Transmigrated

"Where is this? Why, with this memory, who exactly am I? Right, I'm Akira Shiba."

In a dilapidated room, a young boy muttered to himself. He held his head in his hands, his expression twisted in anguish. About a minute later, the boy finally processed the information in his mind.

"Did I transmigrate?" The boy looked around in shock, then glanced at his hands, which had turned into those of a child.

Before he could react, an ugly monster appeared before him, and a memory fragment flashed before his eyes. He saw a couple standing in front of a boy, who was ultimately killed by this very monster.

The fragment disappeared in an instant, and the boy saw the monster slowly moving towards him, its bloated body creeping closer with each step.

After recalling the memory, the boy understood what had happened. This monster had killed the parents of the body he had taken over, and the boy died at that moment as well. His death in the original world led to his transmigration here.

Faced with this ugly monster, the boy, an ordinary human, was filled with fear and hatred. Even though he was now a child, there was no way he could defeat this monster. Various negative emotions surged within him, and without realizing it, a terrifying power began to flow through his body.

"Don't come closer!" The boy grabbed something nearby and threw it at the monster, but it had no effect. The monster continued to advance. Its massive mouth opened wide, and it emitted a strange sound.

It almost seemed to say, "I will eat you, eat you."

The boy, in sheer terror, continued to move backwards.

Finally, he found himself backed into a corner of the kitchen.

"Is this it? Am I going to die just after transmigrating?" the boy thought, fear clouding his mind.

The monster was now standing right in front of him.

"No, I don't want to die. It's all a lie," the boy muttered, his fear intensifying as he faced a second death. His mind was in turmoil.

He didn't understand how those protagonists in novels, who had transmigrated, could accept death so calmly when faced with danger. Even if they had died once before, did they know the "golden finger" would come to their rescue? Come on, an ordinary person facing death could never be unafraid.

A complicated mix of emotions flooded the boy. With each step the monster took, he felt more broken. His mind was slipping, his face twisted in agony. The monster reached out with its large hand toward him.

At that moment, a flash of white light appeared, and a massive arm flew toward the monster. The pain of having its arm severed made the monster let out a painful howl. Looking at the boy, it felt a flicker of instinctual fear. The boy, with a twisted grin on his face, held a knife. The monster's green blood splattered across the boy's face, and strangely, the boy's originally black pupils had disappeared, replaced by a pair of blood-red eyes. Inside the eyes were three tomoe-shaped marks, spinning in a rhythmic pattern.

The monster stared at those eyes, its fear evident. It was the fear of encountering something stronger than itself.

As a curse born from human negative emotions, the curse spirit in front of him could sense the boy's curse, which was stronger than its own. Even though this curse spirit lacked much intelligence, any living thing instinctively feels fear when confronted with something stronger.

The boy began to laugh maniacally. The cursed power surged through the knife in his hand, and he rushed toward the curse spirit, quickly swinging the blade. It didn't take long before the monster was slain.

After killing the monster, the twisted expression on the boy's face faded, and he collapsed unconscious. He didn't wake up until about a day later.

"I'm not dead?" The boy stared in disbelief at his surroundings. Then, piecing the situation together, he realized what had happened. It seemed that in an unconscious burst of power, he had killed the monster.

The boy felt something was strange. Everything around him seemed unreal, but not because of the monster. After all, he had transmigrated, so the unreal feeling could be understood. What felt strange was how everything around him seemed incredibly clear, almost unnaturally so.

He glanced around and spotted the shattered pieces of a mirror on the floor. In one of the fragments, he saw the reflection of a youthful yet refined boy. To his surprise, the boy's eyes in the reflection were blood-red, with black, tadpole-shaped tomoe swirling inside them.

If the people of this world didn't know what it meant, how could he, someone who had transmigrated, not know?

"Holy shit? Is this... the Sharingan?" The boy stared at himself in shock. Thinking it might be a trick of the light, he searched for a larger shard of mirror on the floor to confirm.

"This really is the Sharingan? A three-tomoe? Could this be the world of Naruto? No, this architecture is clearly not from there. And based on this boy's memories, this is just an ordinary world…" Akira Shiba rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"Could it be that before I transmigrated, I was watching Naruto? This is ridiculous! I was watching the Rinnegan at the time!" Akira Shiba muttered indignantly. Then, he felt something.

"This power? Is it Chakra?" He realized something interesting—there was a flow of power in his body, and as someone with the Sharingan, he could naturally sense it. This power felt similar to the curse spirit, filled with negative energy. He began to try controlling this power, and his eyes slowly returned to their normal state.

"Let's give it a try. Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!" Akira Shiba quickly formed hand seals.

"Nothing?"

"Let's try again. Chidori…"

He went through various elemental techniques, but none had any effect.

"What's going on? This can't be right. Even if I haven't learned ninjutsu through a system, I should still have the attributes, right? What's happening?" Despite having the Sharingan, controlling the curse energy within his body was still relatively easy.

"Could it not be Chakra, but some other power?" Akira Shiba pondered.

"Wait a minute… this monster… it looks like it's from Neon, and even the place names are similar. There are monsters, and there are reports about people suddenly disappearing. Could it be...?" Akira Shiba seemed to suddenly have an epiphany.
