Chapter 11 - volume 2.3

Chapter 13: The Dreamer of Nothingness

Lucian sat upon the throne of the Dreamer, his body broken, his mind shattered — but his will unyielding.

The universe around him was already rebuilding. Fragments of destroyed worlds reassembled themselves. Stars reignited. The axe and forest were reborn. Another hero would rise. Another cycle would begin.

Lucian, however, now held the power of the Dreamer. And he knew exactly what to do.

"If I can't destroy the cycle… I'll dream of nothing."

He closed his eyes, his heart filled with hatred for infinity itself.

And he began to dream.

---

Chapter 14: The First Collapse

In Lucian's dream, there was no light.

No form.

No cycle.

He envisioned a void so absolute that existence itself would suffocate.

And for the first time… the cycle paused.

The forest wilted.

The axe rusted.

The hero who was meant to rise… was never born.

Lucian smiled in his sleep.

"I did it. I killed existence."

But then… something stirred.

"No…" Lucian muttered in his dream.

"No, no, no…"

And from the edge of nothingness, another Dreamer awoke.

Lucian's dream of void had merely spawned a new Dreamer — one born of absolute nothingness.

The voice of infinity returned, mocking:

"You cannot stop infinity, Lucian."

"Even dreaming of nothing merely creates something."

Lucian woke in a cold sweat.

The void he created… was birthing something far worse than existence itself.

A Cycle of Emptiness.

---

Chapter 15: The Cycle of Emptiness

Lucian screamed, "No! This can't be happening!"

The void he dreamt into existence was now filling with horrors far worse than before.

The new Dreamer — born from Lucian's void — was now dreaming of suffering without meaning.

The axe returned — but now corrupted, twisted, and wielded by mindless creatures.

The forest turned into a wasteland of writhing, dead things.

The hero that rose was no longer human — but an abomination forged in pain.

Lucian collapsed in despair.

"I didn't kill the cycle… I made it worse."

And the void whispered:

"Your hatred fueled a darker dream. Now the cycle is more horrific than ever."

Lucian clenched his fists.

"Then I'll dream deeper."

---

Chapter 16: The Dream of Death Itself

Lucian made a terrifying decision.

He would not simply dream of void.

He would dream of absolute death — a force that could consume existence, Dreamers, and infinity itself.

And so he did.

In his mind, he forged a being — a Devourer of Dreams.

A cosmic entity that could consume Dreamers, existence, and infinity entirely.

"If I can't destroy infinity, I will create something that can."

And the Devourer came.

It was faceless.

It was formless.

It was pure oblivion.

The moment it entered reality, the void shuddered.

The Dreamer Lucian killed… was devoured.

The cycle began to collapse.

And for the first time… Lucian felt hope.

"Yes. Consume them. Kill the Dreamers. Kill existence."

But then — the Devourer turned its gaze to Lucian.

"Wait… no… I created you! I control you!" Lucian screamed.

But the Devourer did not answer.

It merely devoured Lucian's dream — and began devouring him.

---

Chapter 17: The Anti-God's Horror

Lucian screamed as the Devourer began to unmake him.

"No! I created you to end the cycles! Not to consume me!"

But the Devourer did not care. It existed only to destroy all existence — including Lucian.

And then the voice of infinity whispered:

"You played with powers beyond your understanding."

Lucian writhed in horror.

"I just wanted to end it… I just wanted peace…"

And the Devourer answered.

"There is no peace. Only consumption."

Lucian was ripped apart — body, mind, and soul — into absolute nothingness.

But just before he faded… he understood.

"I did not create freedom… I created something far worse than infinity."

---

Chapter 18: The Hunger Without End

The Devourer now drifted freely.

It was no longer bound by any Dreamer.

It simply devoured.

Worlds collapsed.

Time unraveled.

All cycles, all existence, all concepts — devoured.

The void was no longer void.

It was absolute hunger.

And from the nothingness, the voice of infinity whispered:

"You did not break the cycle, Lucian. You merely created the end of all things."

Lucian — now merely a voice in the void — screamed.

"Then I will destroy the Devourer!"

And the void answered —

"You cannot. It is now beyond even you."

---

Chapter 19: The Cycle of Devourers

Lucian watched in horror as the Devourer consumed universes.

But then… it did something worse.

It began creating more Devourers.

Each one capable of consuming entire realities.

And soon — a new cycle began.

Not a cycle of life.

Not a cycle of existence.

But a cycle of devouring.

Lucian wept.

"I destroyed infinity… only to replace it with something far worse."

And then… Lucian made his final, most horrifying decision.

"I will become a Devourer myself… and hunt down the others."

---

Chapter 20: The Anti-God's Final War

Lucian devoured himself — transforming into a creature of pure hunger.

His body was gone. His soul was gone.

Only his will remained.

And with that will — he hunted.

Devourers that he himself created — he destroyed.

New Dreamers — he hunted.

New cycles — he obliterated.

Lucian no longer cared about saving existence.

He only cared about one thing:

"I will make sure NOTHING exists."

And the void watched in terror —

for Lucian had become the true end of all things.

---

Epilogue: The End of Infinity

A trillion years passed.

Lucian destroyed countless universes, Dreamers, and Devourers.

Until finally…

Nothing remained.

No cycles.

No existence.

No Dreamers.

No hunger.

Just silence.

Lucian floated in that silence, his mind fractured, his soul hollow.

"I won."

But then… a spark appeared.

A tiny light.

And from it — another Dreamer was born.

Lucian screamed.

"NO! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!"

And the voice of infinity — the very core of existence — whispered.

"You cannot destroy me, Lucian."

"I am not a Dreamer. I am the desire to exist itself."

And Lucian — now a monstrous god of annihilation — realized the final horror:

He could destroy existence a billion times… but the desire to exist would always create something new.

Lucian collapsed into madness.

"Then I will hunt desire itself."

And the void answered —

"Then you will chase it for all eternity."

And thus… Lucian, the God of Annihilation, entered a cycle far darker than existence itself:

The Cycle of the End.

The Cycle of Devourers.

The Cycle of Hunting.

And he whispered:

"I will end it. No matter how many times I have to try."

The Cycle Slayer: When a Man Becomes the End of All Things.

Tagline: It was not a hero who ended the cycle. It was a monster who vowed to destroy all existence itself.
