The first time I saw him I knew he was trouble. I just couldn't pinpoint how or why I felt that way but his aura was captivating. The first time we met was two weeks ago when I had a lunch break with my friends. We didn't officially meet but I knew he caught me staring at him a few times. He was truly a captivating soul. 'snap out of it Lyxaria!'

I knew this was unhealthy and what made me more convinced was because I was staring at him right now from across the street. I can't even pinpoint the reason I am here anymore. all I can think of is his captivating body. Him being in a suit doesn't hide his muscles at all. I think it even highlights it even more. I'm not sure he even puts effort in getting that sexy out of bed hair look. I'm pretty sure it just comes naturally for him. I was not sure how long I was staring until I caught his dark blue eyes staring into mine. I quickly averted my gaze and drove off trying to calm my mind down.

"where are we going?" Sage my best friend and business partner said to me from the passenger's seat.

"what do you mean?

Sage sighs and rolls her eyes. "Can you stop the car first Lyx?"

"why?"

" we are meant to meet Mr Demarco remember?"

" Oh shit!" I quickly turned around and went back to the restaurant.

" what's up with you today?"

" what do you mean?"

" I saw the way you were staring at that man across the street"

" I wasn't staring okay!" I quickly turned my face away so she wouldn't read my expression. I was very sure I was blushing and I don't even know why.

"sure you weren't staring. you were literally gawking at his amazing body."

"That's not true"

"I'm not going to push any longer. but please put your head in the game. we need to sign this contract with Mr Demarco today" I totally understand why sage was worried. Anytime I was distracted I couldn't focus at all. and that is why I need to get this handsome stranger out of my head. 'calling him handsome won't help you know'

Great! even my inner mind is chiding me

we arrived back at the restaurant and I subtly looked around to see if I would find him again but I guess I was not subtle enough because Sage definitely noticed me. "I know what you are doing and thank God he's not here. This meeting will not be a disaster because of some random guy."

We entered the restaurant and I quickly scanned the place. my eyes locked in with the same dark blue eyes that has haunted me since two weeks ago. This is not what I was expecting. I thought he had already gone. what if he was stalking me. or what if he was a serial killer and I was his next target. The truth is I will willingly die in those string arms of his. I turned to my side and saw Sage glaring at me and following my line of sight to the guy I was looking at. "you definitely have a problem."

I looked back to the guy I was staring at and I saw him smirking. 'what a creep'

The manager quickly arrived when he spotted us

"Good evening ladies. do you have a reservation?"

"yes we do. we are meeting with Mr Demarco." Sage replied.

" oh right this way ladies. Mr Demarco arrived few minutes ago.

I don't know why my heart started beating fast when we were approaching a familiar table. 'of course it will be familiar. I stared at the person sitting on it from the moment I stepped in. Sage squeezed my hands that were holding hers tightly and I knew she noticed my discomfort.

"This is worse than a mere coincidence" she whispered in my eyes and chuckled. I couldn't help but glare at her. what am I going to do. once we approached the table the manager quickly left and went to attend to other customers.

"You must be Mr Demarco. I'm Sage Flynn and this is my business partner Lyxaria bishop ."

Sage shook his hand. I was still frozen in where I was standing. This is so unlike me. I was always level headed but right now I can't even think straight. when I looked at him again I noticed he was staring at me with no emotions I'm his eyes. his eyes were so cold and distant. I wonder how many years he took him to control his emotions. or what if he was born like that. he doesn't seem to have emotions at all.

When I thought he was going to ignore me he stretched out his hands for a handshake "I'm Leonardo Demarco. Nice to meet you Miss Bishop"

I was stunned for a moment but I quickly shook his hands. I did not want him to think I'm a faulty robot that is lagging or something.

we all sat down and I tried so hard to avoid his gaze while him and Sage were discussing the contract.

The way she avoids my gaze is so amusing. The fact that she thinks I can't see her staring at me makes it more hilarious. I can't take my eyes off her pretty face and light brown eyes. her dark brown hair cascades her face with an effortless grace. I averted my eyes when I saw she was about to look at me again.

I think it's going to be fun doing business with her.

"so Mr Demarco about the contract, how about we split the profit 60-40?"

The girl named Sage, I think asked after I was done going through the contract they had drafted. "I would have to give my lawyer to take a look at it before I make any discussions."

" No problem Mr Demarco. It will be such an honor to work with you"

" the pleasure is all mine. Have a great evening Miss Bishop and miss Flynn. I will take my leave now."

I took a look at Lyxaria and I couldn't help but smile. it's going to be so much fun watching her break.

It's bad enough that she caught my attention long before we even met two weeks ago.
