Chapter 6:
Blaze charges forward, utilizing his speed to catch Lucas off guard. Blaze's fist connects, sending Lucas stumbling to the ground. The kids watching the fight begin to mock Lucas, hurling sarcastic comments that irritate him further.
"Hey, Lucas, you're so slow, you make snails look like cheetahs!" one kid jeers.
"Yeah, Lucas, you're like a punching bag – always getting hit and never hitting back!" another kid chimes in.
Lucas' face reddens with anger as he scrambles to his feet. He lunges forward, determined to prove himself. Blaze, anticipating Lucas' attack, uses his agility to dodge the blow. Blaze counterattacks, landing a series of quick jabs that send Lucas stumbling backward.
The fight continues for several minutes, with Blaze landing more attacks on Lucas. The kids insult Lucas and praise Blaze, further fueling the intensity of the battle.
"Blaze is a beast! He's going to destroy Lucas!" one kid exclaims.
"Yeah, Lucas is no match for Blaze's speed and agility!" another kid agrees.
Blaze, confident in his ability to defeat Lucas, decides to use his Astral Strike skill to finish the fight. He focuses his energy, feeling the familiar surge of power coursing through his veins. With a swift motion, Blaze unleashes the Astral Strike, striking Lucas with incredible force. Lucas flies backward, crashing to the ground.
Blaze waits for the system to reward him, believing he has defeated Lucas. However, he is unaware that Lucas is about to unleash a devastating counterattack.
Meanwhile, Nephis and her father observe the fight from a distance. Nephis analyzes the battle, noting that Blaze doesn't seem to use mystic essence during his attacks, unlike Lucas. She also detects a subtle difference when Blaze uses his Astral Strike skill.
"Father, I think Blaze is using a different type of energy," Nephis says, her eyes fixed intently on the battle.
Her father nods thoughtfully. "Yes, I think you're right, Nephis. Blaze's energy signature is unique. I've never seen anything like it before."
Lucas gets back to his feet, warning Blaze that he's about to get serious. Blaze, underestimating Lucas, lunges forward and is met with a powerful attack, "Beast Lunge." Blaze suffers significant damage, with the system notifying him of his dwindling HP: -30 HP. 40/100 HP remains.
As Blaze struggles to defend himself, the system continues to notify him of his decreasing HP: -5 HP, 35/100 HP remains. -7 HP, 28/100 HP remains. -10 HP, 18/100 HP remains. The constant reminders of his dwindling health further demoralize Blaze.
The kids, who had previously cheered for Blaze, begin to mock him, siding with Lucas instead.
"Hey, Blaze, you're not as tough as you thought, huh?" one kid jeers.
"Yeah, Lucas is going to destroy you now!" another kid exclaims.
Blaze's face burns with anger and embarrassment as he tries to defend himself against Lucas' relentless attacks. Despite his best efforts, Blaze's HP continues to dwindle.
In a desperate attempt to turn the tide of the battle, Blaze tries to cast a spell to stop Lucas. He focuses his energy, trying to recall a spell he heard during the battle between the brown cloak figure and the black cloak figures . However, his mind is cloudy, and he struggles to remember it.
"Stop...stop...ah, yes! 'Mystic Barrier'!" Blaze exclaims, finally remembering the spell. His hope got crashed with the system voice informing him that mystic barrier skill is not in skill tab.
Blaze lock his hand together to shield him again Lucas attack . Lucas, undeterred, charges forward, his fist glowing with mystic energy. Lucas then mutters "Beast punch" hitting blaze and sending him couple of meters back.
The kids gasp in shock, stunned the thrashing blaze is receiving.
As the dust settles, Blaze struggles to his feet, his HP critically low: 3/100 HP remains. Lucas, however, seems to not be tired, his eyes glowing with an intense anger.
Blaze thought " I'm the one getting thrashed why does he still have an angry expression "
"You're...you're going to lose," Lucas growls, his voice low and menacing.
Blaze tries to defend himself, but his movements are slow and clumsy. Lucas takes advantage of Blaze's weakness, landing a devastating blow that sends Blaze crashing to the ground.
Just as Lucas is about to deliver the final blow, a gust of wind blows, and Nephis' father appears.
"Enough!" Nephis' father exclaims, his voice commanding. "This fight is over." Just when blaze believe things can't get any worse. He heard a familiar voice in his head.
The system then delivers a crushing message:
"Quest failed. Penalty: -10CP. Your ineptitude is staggering. The world may be doomed to suffer due to ur incompetence "
