Chapter 8 - THE TRAINING MANIAC

Chapter 8

After a few hours of sulking about the system's ruthlessness, Blaze decided that he would try his best to get rid of the negative title "Failure Host." He couldn't bear the thought of being known as a failure by the system, especially not after his defeat at the hands of Lucas. With newfound determination, Blaze started training.

His training routine was far longer and much tougher than before. The system's condition was clear: he had to train twice as hard as usual for four weeks to get rid of the title. Blaze was determined to fulfill this condition, no matter how grueling it might be.

His day started at 4:00 AM with a 20-kilometer run around the city. He would then return to the training grounds, where he would begin his strength training. He would lift weights, do push-ups, and perform other exercises to build his strength and endurance.

After a short breakfast break, Blaze would move on to his combat training. He would spar with Lucas, Nephis, and some of the adult warriors in the city. This was the part of his training that he enjoyed the most, as it allowed him to test his skills against others and learn from his mistakes.

He would also study the ancient tomes in the city's library, seeking to learn more about the mystic arts and how to know about the chaos essence inside him

As the days turned into weeks, Blaze's training routine became the talk of the town. People would gather to watch him train, marveling at his dedication and perseverance. Some of them even started calling him the "Training Maniac," a nickname that stuck.

The person who gave him this nickname was none other than Elara, Lucas' mother. She had been watching Blaze train from the sidelines, impressed by his work ethic and determination.

"I've never seen anyone train as hard as you do, Blaze," she said one day, as he was taking a short break. "You're like a maniac, always pushing yourself to the limit."

Blaze smiled, wiping the sweat from his brow. "I just want to get stronger. I'm sacred about not being strong enough to protect those around me "

Elara nodded, her eyes shining with understanding. "I know, Blaze. And I think you're on the right track. Just remember to take care of yourself, okay? You don't want to burn out."

Blaze nodded, grateful for her concern. He knew that he was pushing himself hard, but he was determined to succeed.

And then, one afternoon, after weeks of rigorous training, Blaze received a message from the system. His heart skipped a beat as he read the words:

"Title 'Failure Host' removed."

Blaze let out a whoop of excitement, pumping his fist in the air. He had done it! He had fulfilled the system's condition and gotten rid of the title.

But his celebration was short-lived, as the system's voice echoed in his mind once again.

"Ding! Quest completed: Training Maniac."

Blaze's eyes widened as he read the quest details. He had earned 300 experience points, which brought his total experience points to 940. He had also earned 7 stat points, which he could distribute among his various stats.

Blaze brought up his system, eager to see his updated stats.

And so, with renewed determination, Blaze set off towards his next goal, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
