Chapter 4: Harpy Tribe of the Forest 4
I decided to go play in the village, but instead of being guided by an angel, I was guided by a harpy named Piyo.

I had no choice but to follow her, feeling somewhat anxious. Apparently, the reason I'm considered a good person is because I managed to prevent Piyo from falling to the ground. Unlike me, she's a calm person...
"Hey, hey, unh... Arisu.... Hiro! Hiro, why are you here?"
"That's what I'd like to know too."
With a sigh, I told her everything that had happened up until now. Then, as expected.
"Hahaha, what is this? How weird. Hiro, you're funny."
She laughed at me. It's true—anyone who hears my story would think that. I would have laughed too if I hadn't experienced it myself.
"The cookies that Piyo's grandma makes are really delicious. I'll give some to Hiro too!"
She seemed to be enjoying herself talking about her village, not caring how I felt. As she talked about her family, her favorite foods, her favorite places, and when she went fishing with her brother, she made me realize that the Harpy Village didn't seem like such a bad place. It reminded me of my grandparents' house, where I used to spend my summer vacations as a child.
Speaking of older brothers, it seems that Harpies also have males. As I walked, the forest opened up, and a gate that looked like the entrance to the village appeared before us.
"Hehe, so this is Piyo's village."
Behind Piyo, who looked at me and proudly boasted about her village, was a landscape completely different from what I had imagined.
