Chapter 7: Harpy Tribe of the Forest 7
The two decide to follow the fallen feathers to the hideout of the cat thieves.

It seems the fallen feathers belong to the harpies who were kidnapped.
"I see. If we follow this path, we'll reach the thieves' hideout."
Piyo nodded vigorously and headed into the forest. I ran after her. Beautiful feathers were scattered here and there along the path we took.
"Are you coming with me, Hiro?"
"Because your sister asked me to."
Actually, she asked me to bring her back even if I had to use force, but I'm not sure if it was because of Piyo's enthusiasm or because I was interested, but somehow I ended up following her.
"Hmm, hey, hey, what's in here?"
Apparently, Piyo was interested in the contents of my bag. Now that I think about it, I remembered I was on my way home from work. My bag contains my work materials, a basically unusable smartphone, my headphones, rice balls I bought at the supermarket, and water.
"Hey, aren't you hungry?"
I took out a rice ball from my bag. I probably won't be able to keep it fresh for long, so let's eat it now. I removed the plastic wrap and handed one to Piyo.
"What is this food? Rice? What's this black paper?"
"It's called seaweed (Nori)."
"Glue (Nori)? The kind that makes paper?"
Apparently, people are confusing it with glue. There seems to be rice in this world, but it seems there's no seaweed.
Piyo, who doesn't seem to be good at thinking about complicated things, took a bite of the tuna rice ball.
"Mmm, delicious!"
"I see. That's good then."
I took a bite of the rice ball in my hands too, while watching the carefree Piyo eating.
