Chapter 8: Harpies of the Forest and Cat Thieves 1
Piyo and Arisugawa follow the fallen feathers of the kidnapped harpies and are searching for the thieves' hideout.

"The feathers led us here."
Piyo and I followed the feathers left by the kidnapped harpies and stopped in front of a suspicious-looking cave.
"Hey, are you really going in? Shouldn't you go back first and call your village companions? Maybe your brother..."
"Even if I do that, something terrible might be happening to the kidnapped people?!"
With that, Piyo slowly entered the cave. I took a deep breath and followed her.
Although it was daytime outside, the cave was dark and damp. The thought of not knowing when someone might attack us from the shadows sent a shiver down my spine. I could hear some voices coming from around the corner. It must be the group of thieves who attacked Piyo's village.
"So? Do you have a plan?"
I asked Piyo in a low voice. However, she ignored me again and ran toward the end of the cave. And then;
"You thieves, give me back Piyo's friends!!"
She bravely shouted loudly and stepped in front of the thieves. I didn't expect things to come to this point, but now it's too late to regret not doing what Piyo's sister asked me and bringing her back to the village by force.
"Wow, this one went out of their way to hand themselves over to us."
I heard the thieves laughing. This is bad—if I'm a hero summoned to this world, some kind of special ability should have activated...! Well, that doesn't seem to be the case, so let's grab Piyo quickly and run away from here. I jumped in front of the bandits, determined to bring her back by force this time to her village.
