Later, at Renkai's request, Dr. Gero used the Dragon Balls to resurrect all the innocent people who had perished due to Piccolo Daimao.

Renkai brought Bulma and Dr. Brief to the Lookout, where, with Kami's permission, they began modifying the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
Bulma had developed a time machine in the future world.
Dr. Brief was the inventor of the Capsule technology.
One specialized in space-time mechanics, the other in advanced physics and engineering.
With their combined expertise—and Renkai's assistance—they overcame countless technical hurdles and successfully upgraded the Time Chamber, removing its usage restrictions.
With the improved chamber complete, Renkai sent Yamcha and Krillin inside for training.
Three days later—equivalent to three years inside—their power had skyrocketed.

The next morning, Renkai gave Yamcha and Krillin the day off to relax.
Goku, however, declined. The young Saiyan preferred to stay in the Gravity Room, training relentlessly.
"A total training maniac," Renkai mused.
Before heading out, Bulma took extra care with her appearance, dressing in a stylish outfit. She then happily clung to Renkai's arm as they left.
As she gazed at Renkai's handsome face—his strong and reliable demeanor—her heart fluttered.
Unable to resist, Renkai leaned in and stole a kiss.
"Brother!" Bulma gasped, blushing furiously. "Not in public!"
Renkai grinned mischievously. "You're just too charming today."
Their date began with a stroll through the park, followed by a movie. Later, Bulma led Renkai to West City's largest shopping mall.
Excited by his company, Bulma shopped to her heart's content, picking out both useful and unnecessary items for herself and Renkai.
When it came time to pay, Renkai insisted on covering the cost.
A man doesn't let his date pay.
Though he had joked about living the easy life with a wealthy girlfriend, Renkai had no shortage of money.
Between confiscated treasures from Torudo's hideout, vast riches from lost pirate hoards, and his own technological prowess, Renkai could easily fund any venture.
If he ever needed more?
Well, being a powerful warrior had its benefits.
Encounter with Lan Qi
That evening, as Renkai and Bulma strolled home, they passed by a bank.
Suddenly—BOOM!
An explosion erupted from the building, followed by a figure dashing through the smoke.
A blonde woman, wielding a submachine gun in one hand and a sack of money in the other, burst onto the street.
Bills spilled from the bag as she ran.
"Out of my way!" she barked.
Renkai's eyes widened.
Lan Qi.
Due to the changes he had caused in this world, Lan Qi had never met Kame Sennin or joined Goku's group. Somehow, she had ended up here, robbing banks.
Before Bulma could intervene, Renkai gently pulled her back.
As Lan Qi sprinted past them—Achoo!
She sneezed.
The blonde, aggressive bank robber vanished.
In her place stood a confused, blue-haired woman, still clutching the stolen money.
Sirens blared in the distance.
"Come with me," Renkai said.
He had always preferred the gentle, kind-hearted Lan Qi over her rowdy counterpart.
Before the police arrived, Renkai had her drop the bag and quietly followed him and Bulma back home.
Bulma didn't object.
Because of Renkai's interference, Lan Qi had never joined Goku's circle.
Yet fate had brought her into their lives another way.
As they sat down, Renkai handed Lan Qi a cup of tea.
"Do you have a place to go?" he asked.
Lan Qi hesitated, staring at her cup. "...No."
"Then stay here," Renkai decided. "We could use a maid around the house."
And just like that, a new member joined the group.
