Tenshinhan took out the seven Dragon Balls that he had been keeping and began summoning Renkai Shenron.
Originally, this was meant to resurrect Torudo, following Crane Hermit's plan. Tenshinhan was supposed to defeat Kamesen-ryu in the tournament and claim victory before proceeding.
However, things did not go as expected. Instead of Kamesen-ryu losing, Hesen-ryu was utterly defeated by a group of warriors wearing Dragon System combat uniforms.
To make matters worse, Tenshinhan and Chiaotzu were told by Kame Sennin himself that they had already betrayed their master.
Thunder and lightning filled the sky as the oppressive aura of Renkai Shenron once again descended upon the land.
When the massive Dragon of Wishes appeared, everyone present was left speechless at the sight of its colossal form, towering over a hundred meters.
"State your wish, and I shall grant it."
Renkai Shenron's enormous dragon eyes, however, did not focus on Crane Hermit, but instead glanced toward another direction.
"Shenron, please revive—Agh!"
Just as Crane Hermit was about to make his wish, a sudden beam of light pierced his chest, ending his life instantly.
A tall, elderly, green-skinned figure now stood in front of Renkai Shenron—
It was Demon King Piccolo.
He had assassinated Crane Hermit in cold blood, seizing the opportunity to take control of the wish.
"Demon King Piccolo?! How did he escape the seal?!"
The Kame Sennin disciples were in a state of panic.
"Huh? There's a Demon King Piccolo in my world too? Well then, let my savior Bulma save the world again!"
Bulma watched the scene unfold with excitement, her eyes locked onto Demon King Piccolo.
"Shenron, restore my youth!"
After eliminating Crane Hermit, Demon King Piccolo wasted no time in making his wish.
"It is done."
A surge of energy engulfed Demon King Piccolo, his wrinkled, aged body rapidly transforming back into his youthful prime.
Ding! You have obtained Flight!
Ding! You have obtained Explosive Demon Wave!
Ding! You have obtained Ki-He Cannon!
Ding! You have obtained Mouth Energy Wave!
"This power… This body… I feel incredible—AAGH!"
Before he could relish in his newfound youth, a slender energy wave shot straight through his chest.
A sneak attack!
Bulma had been waiting for Demon King Piccolo to make his wish before mercilessly executing him.
"I saved the world again! Yay!"
Bulma cheered as Demon King Piccolo collapsed.
Just like before, Demon King Piccolo, in his dying moments, spat out an egg, ensuring his legacy would continue.
This left Tenshinhan, who had wanted revenge for Crane Hermit, deeply frustrated.
However, Renkai had already anticipated this. He recovered both Demon King Piccolo's egg and his corpse, sending the latter to Dr. Gero for research purposes.
As for the egg, Renkai planned to raise it himself.
The Birth of Piccolo

The egg hatched.
From it emerged a small, green-skinned child—the new Piccolo.
Despite retaining Demon King Piccolo's memories, he was now a completely new lifeform.
As he looked around curiously, Renkai stepped forward.
"Welcome to the world, Piccolo."
Piccolo remained silent, glaring warily at Renkai.
"In the coming days, I will train you."
Renkai made his intentions clear.
"Hmph, don't expect me to be grateful!" Piccolo snapped. "I will still kill that woman to avenge my father!"
Renkai simply smirked.
He knew Piccolo was the type to deny his feelings, but deep down, he would follow orders without question.
And so, training began.
At first, Piccolo trained alongside Tenshinhan and Chiaotzu.
However, it soon became evident that humans simply could not keep up.
As the evil half of Kami, Piccolo's Namekian bloodline granted him extraordinary potential.
In just three years, the original Piccolo had grown strong enough to rival Goku, who had trained under the Ultra Divine Water and experienced countless battles.
Now, with Renkai personally training him, Piccolo's power skyrocketed beyond imagination.
One Year Later
Piccolo's power level exceeded 1,000.
This left Tenshinhan deeply discouraged.
To balance things out, Renkai had Piccolo drink the Ultra Divine Water.
Unlike humans, Namekians do not require food, surviving purely on water. This allowed Piccolo to withstand the poison and successfully awaken his hidden potential.
Later, Renkai performed a full potential unlock, further amplifying Piccolo's strength.
By the second year, Piccolo had surpassed Yamcha and Krillin.
By the third year, he was stronger than ever, while Goku had matured into a young adult.
The 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament
"Goku, you must participate in this world's best martial arts tournament!"
Renkai dragged Goku out of the 100x Gravity Chamber.
While Goku trained, Renkai enjoyed life with Bulma.
"Okay, big brother!"
Goku never refused Renkai's requests.
After all, Renkai was the one who raised him to be this strong.
"But on one condition!" Goku added. "You must enter the tournament too! I want to fight you!"
Renkai laughed.
"Alright, Goku. If you think you can defeat me, I'll accept."
"Yes! This is my dream fight!"
Goku beamed with excitement.
For years, he had been training just for this moment—to finally face his big brother in battle.
A few days later, the tournament began.
Renkai and his team registered, breezed through the preliminaries, and entered the Top 8.
Now, it was time to draw lots.
"Damn it… My next opponent is my big brother…"
Yamcha looked at his number and immediately groaned.
Krillin and the others breathed sighs of relief, grateful that they weren't the ones facing Renkai or Goku.
The power difference was too massive.
Before the matches began…
"Son Goku, is that you?!"
A beautiful girl in a blue cheongsam approached Goku.
Her athletic build and intense gaze suggested she was a fighter.
Goku, however, simply looked at her with a confused expression.
"…Who are you?"
The girl's face darkened.
It seemed Goku had wronged her in some way.
