Chapter 37 - Marrying Bulma

"Brother, Goku is having trouble transforming into a Super Saiyan. What do you think I'm going to do?"

Krillin asked in confusion.

"Nothing," Renkai replied, withdrawing his gaze.

After the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament, although Goku did not win the championship, he somehow ended up with a wife.

Chichi was determined to be with Goku.

After following him back to Bulma's home, she soon requested to marry him.

Goku had no idea what marriage was, but that didn't stop him from agreeing.

As Goku's elder brother, Renkai was naturally concerned about his marriage to Chichi.

He asked, "After you and Chichi get married, where will you settle down?"

In the original timeline, Goku and Chichi settled in the countryside, living a simple, self-sufficient life.

However, in this altered world where Renkai had intervened, Goku looked confused and pushed the question back to him.

Settle down?

I don't know.

Brother, you decide.

"Goku, I think it's better if you and Chichi live with me and Bulma in West City. This way, whenever you want to train, you can use Bulma's 100-times gravity room anytime you like."

Renkai laid out his plan thoughtfully.

"Brother, I'll listen to you!"

Goku's eyes lit up at the suggestion.

For a training fanatic like him, leaving behind Bulma's 100-times gravity chamber was out of the question.

"Brother, living in West City sounds great, but what about the house...?"

Chichi, now following Goku in calling Renkai "big brother," looked concerned about finances.

West City was a bustling metropolis where land was expensive.

While she had no objection to settling there, she was worried about the costs.

"Chichi, don't worry about that. Since I'm Goku's elder brother, I'll take care of everything.

Buying a house in West City is nothing. Pick any apartment you like, and I'll buy it for you!"

Renkai thumped his chest confidently.

For someone who had already set his sights on surpassing even the Saiyans, money had never been an issue.

"Thank you, Brother!"

Chichi smiled happily.

Goku had a great big brother!

A few days later, Renkai bought a large villa near Bulma's house for Goku and Chichi, allowing them to move in.

With the house settled, the wedding preparations began.

While arranging for Goku and Chichi's wedding, Renkai was caught off guard by an unexpected development—Chichi's proactive approach to marriage seemed to inspire Bulma.

One night, Bulma, looking shy, pulled Renkai into her room.

He hadn't expected her to be so bold, but with a man's pride on the line, he couldn't back down.

At that moment, pants became unnecessary...

The next morning, as Renkai put his pants back on, he glanced at Bulma, who lay beside him, her face glowing even in sleep after last night's exhaustion.

A look of deep affection crossed his mature, steady face.

To this day, he still remembered how sharp Bulma's nails had been.

If not for his strong battle power, his back would have been shredded.

Since things had naturally progressed to this point, Renkai wasn't one to hesitate.

Upon meeting Dr. Brief, he proposed to Bulma immediately.

Dr. Brief readily approved of the marriage.

After discussing with Mrs. Brief, arrangements were quickly made.

When Bulma learned that her parents had approved, her beautiful face beamed with happiness.

Renkai was all about efficiency.

At his suggestion, his wedding with Bulma would take place on the same day as Goku and Chichi's.

Under Mrs. Brief's meticulous planning, both weddings were scheduled for an auspicious day next month.

The wedding day arrived.

Dressed as a groom, Goku awkwardly greeted the guests, though most were familiar faces.

Krillin sighed enviously and said, "Goku, you're already married. Why can't I be like you and have a girl as amazing as Chichi come to me?"

He glanced around and continued, "Big Brother has Bulma, and even Yamcha, though not married, always has a new girlfriend. He's a total playboy, changing girls one after another. Looks like I'll just have to hug Piccolo to keep warm from now on…"

Hearing Krillin's complaints, Goku patted his shoulder in an attempt to console him.

"Krillin, you're my little brother. I won't let you stay single forever. If you fall in love with a girl, just tell me."

Renkai, overhearing the conversation, patted Krillin's shoulder with a hearty laugh.

"Brother…"

Krillin looked at him gratefully.

As the wedding continued, a figure appeared silently among the guests.

Blonde-haired Launch stood in the crowd, watching Renkai and Bulma standing together in their wedding attire.

Her eyes flashed with determination—she wasn't giving up.

After the wedding, under Renkai's leadership, both couples went on a honeymoon, traveling the world.

A few months later, they returned to West City.

At Dr. Gero's secret laboratory…

"Renkai, while you were on your honeymoon, I finally succeeded!"

Dr. Gero's voice was filled with excitement.

"Based on the ideas you provided, along with the research data you brought me from another world, I have successfully created the ultimate bio-engineered lifeform—an artificial human that fuses the cells of the strongest warriors together!"

Dr. Gero stood before a glass container filled with nutrient fluid, introducing his latest creation.

Renkai looked at the tank seriously. Inside, floating in the culture fluid, was a small, green embryo.

In the original timeline, Dr. Gero pursued three main approaches to artificial humans.

The first was fully robotic androids built from scratch.

The second involved cybernetic enhancements, turning humans into half-machine hybrids.

Both of these designs required either an infinite energy core or an energy-absorption system.

However, there was a third category—true artificial lifeforms.

These were biological entities created by merging the genetic material of powerful warriors.

But in this timeline, under Renkai's guidance, Dr. Gero had abandoned the half-machine hybrid approach entirely.

Instead, he focused on robotics and artificial lifeforms.

After all, I have a better plan. Cybernetic androids are beneath me.

"However, Renkai, while this bio-engineered human is indeed a super lifeform, the development process takes an extremely long time.

Fusing the cells of different species into one entity is complex, and even my computer cannot determine how many years it will take for this lifeform to reach full maturity."

Dr. Gero's initial excitement faded slightly as he sighed, acknowledging the major flaw of the project—

Time.
