I stare at my reflection in the mirror and start sobbing. I look so terrible. My life is a mess. I don't even know what to do with myself. I'm devastated. I have nobody. I'm tired of living. I just want to end it all.

Few days earlier

"You look so beautiful Avani. Raymond is going to be shocked when he sees you". Teresa said from behind me. We were getting ready for prom. It was my last day in high school. I was so excited. I applied my mascara and brushed my hair. I really looked beautiful, plus my grey wig made me even more pretty.
"Today, I want to get drunk and go skinny dipping.". Teresa said and smirked. She looked at me and I could see disappointment on her face.
"You're so boring Avani. It's our last day in high school we have to make every moment count. Come on, don't be boringggg". She said and poked me.
"Fine. I'll drink a little with you but I won't get drunk and I won't swim naked with you". I responded.
"Fine. I won't force you. Raymond is going to be there. You know he loves you so much, you should see him after the party. Maybe have a little bit of fun with him", she said and started giggling. I looked at her and sigh. She's right. Raymond loves me so much and he always buy gifts for me and calls me all the time. I love him too and we've been together since the beginning of the school year. Teresa's right I really should have fun with him. I've been keeping him on suspense, maybe I should just enjoy with him. Who knows, this might be the last time I see him so it'd be nice to make it count.
"What are you thinking?". Teresa said and stood up from the chair.
"Nothing, I was just thinking about what you said. I think I'm buying your idea.", I replied.
"Good, we should start going. I feel so excited and energized". She said and started jumping. I could see happiness all over her face. She's crazy but I love her. She's my best friend. She's always there for me and she treats me like her sister. Even better than my own blood sister. I smiled, got up from my chair and sprayed my body with Valentino perfume. We went down the stairs and got into the car. My dad's chauffeur took us to the prom party.
As we walked in, a guy pulled Teresa from behind and kissed her. I turned around to look. I didn't know the guy. She never told me about him. I stood there looking confused.
"It's fine, he's my boyfriend". She said, winked and walked away with him. I was confused because she had a boyfriend last week and he looked nothing like this. This girl is crazy.
"Hey pretty". A voice said from behind me. I know that voice. My heart melted and I turned around.
"Hi my love, you look so good", Raymond said and hugged me. I could feel butterflies in my belly. He bought me a rose. He's so thoughtful. He held my hand and he asked me to dance with him. I agreed and we started dancing.
"I'm hosting an after party at my place, will you come with me?". He said with a convincing look.
"I don't know… I don't feel like". I said
"Please my love. It's just for today. I want to have fun with you. It'd be boring without you". He said and put his hand around my waist. He's so sweet. I looked at his eyes and I could see love and everything felt so pure. I nodded in agreement and told him I'll go with him. He was so happy, he lifted me off the ground and kissed me.
The school party was finally over. Everyone was leaving and I was pretty sure they were going to Raymond's party. I looked everywhere and I couldn't find Teresa. I texted her and told her I was going for Raymond's party but she didn't reply. I wasn't worried though. She wild but she knows how to take care of herself. I got into Raymond's car. He was driving so rough. I kept yelling at him to slow down but he wouldn't. He loves doing dangerous things. He was driving in full speed.
We finally got the party and we started drinking. I didn't want to drink at first but Raymond convinced me, besides I promised myself I'd have fun. Raymond took me to his room and I could feel the tension between us.
"I love you", he said and started kissing me. He started playing with the button on my dress.
"I want you", he said and continued kissing me.
"It's fine if you don't want to do this. I can keep waiting.", he said and then I felt bad. He has been so patient with me and this might probably be the last time we see. Although he promised to keep in touch with me cause he said he loves me and he can't do without me. I trusted him. He stopped kissing me and put me on his bed. He was about walking away and then I pulled him back.
"Let's make love", I said and I could see how surprised he was.
"Are you sure?", he asked and stared at me.
"You don't have to if you don't want ..…", I interrupted him with a kiss. He could tell I wanted to do it so he gave in. He started kissing me and taking off his clothes. I did same. He was happy and I was happy that he was happy. I asked him to be gentle and he was. We did everything and I was happy. It was weird but I was happy. I asked him to promise that he won't leave me and we'd always be happy together. He promised me and even said when he goes to college he'd like to move in with me. I was so happy and relaxed and I couldn't wait to tell Teresa everything. She would be so happy for me.
He took me back home, I went to my room and I slept off immediately.

"You disgrace of a daughter". Dad yelled and dragged me out of my bed. I woke up, I was baffled. What did I do this time? Before I could say anything dad punched me. I started crying. Mum walked into my room pointing her phone at me.
"Avani, what is this? You're now a pornographer.?", she yelled at pushed her phone to me. I was in disbelief. It was me. In the video, it was Raymond and I making love. No,no, no it can't be. It can't be!
"Mum please listen to me". I said and she slapped me. Dad loosened his belt and started hitting me. He pushed me to the ground and kept on hitting me. I was screaming, mum didn't do anything , my sister was there staring she couldn't say anything. I kept begging but dad won't stop. He didn't stop until my nose started bleeding. He stopped and they all walked away. I was crying so bad. I didn't even know where to start. I decided to call Raymond so he could explain what just happened. I called and he picked up
"Hey my love". He said and started laughing. I couldn't understand what was funny, could it be that he doesn't know what just happened.
"Ray, there's a video of us. I don't know how, I don't know but my mum and dad found it. They just hit me and I'm bleeding Ray. I need you to explain and comfort me please. Please Ray. Please". I said as I was sobbing
"This is what you deserve. All these while you've been little miss perfect. I just want to give you a little bit of fame and better your boring life. You'd thank me later". Ray said and chuckled.
"I don't understand Ray, what are you talking about? Did you make that video?". I said and he laughed. He said I shouldn't call him again and then he hung up and blocked me.
