I stood in front of my door and wept bitterly. I had no where to go. Jayla wasn't home, she could have helped me beg them even though I know it'll be of no use. They hated me. I should have known John wasn't my dad. No wonder he always treated me horribly. At this point I felt like killing myself. I thought of laying on the road so I could get hit by a car and die. After a second thought I realized it was pointless. I didnt want to hurt the baby I was carrying, even though I didn't want it. I thought of going to stay with Lana but I didn't want to be burden to she and her parents. They lived in a very small apartment and I didn't want to add to their bills so I didn't bother to go there. I sighed and started walking down the street. Everyone kept staring at me, of course they would.I looked so bad.
"You'll never know peace Raymond", I cried out and looked up to the sky. I kept walking down the street aimlessly. I had no where to go. It was already getting dark and I was feeling so tired. I found an open cabin close to a mall, and decided to stay there for the night. The place was so dirty and full of mosquitoes. I cleaned the place and settled there. I couldn't sleep well that night cause I felt so unsafe.
The next day , I woke up really late and ill. I kept throwing up. My baby bump started appearing. I noticed a lot of changes in my body and it made me even more depressed. I was so young. I wasn't even mentally prepared to have a child. I checked the time and it was 6:45pm. I sighed and walked out of the bathroom. I gasped at the sight of Raymond.
"Avani?", he said and took off his glasses.
"Your mother.", I answered coldly.
"Why are you in my cabin in a towel?", he said with a smirk. The smirk made me so upset, I felt like smashing his head on the wall. The naive me; who was extremely in love with him would have been blushing but all I felt at that moment was hate and disgust. I ignored him and started putting on my clothes over my towel.
"Awww, your soft precious skin. You look fat. Have you come for more?", he said and tried to touch me but I slapped his hands.
"You disgust me.", I groaned and moved away. I was already done dressing.
"And you turn me on", he said and immediately I punched his nose. His nose started bleeding and he pulled my arms.
"What are you doing in my cabin Avani?", he yelled at me.
"Your cabin?", I asked.
"I rented this place just to chill out and all of a sudden you show up in a towel and punch me?", he yelled and held my arms tighter.
"Let go off me Raymond or I swear to God….
"What are you going to do? Do it. I dare you.", he said and pulled me closer to his body. He held my waist and started running his fingers through my hair.
"Raymond please stop it", I pleaded.
"I missed you. Let me have another time with you", he licked his lips and said.
"Ray let me go. Please. I'm going to leave your cabin, I promise. Just let go off me", I begged him but he refused to let me go. He started squeezing my body and kissing my neck forcefully.
"Don't worry I'll be easy and sweet like the first time. There are no cameras this time. Be wild.", he whispered into my ears. I tried pulling myself out of his hold but he was too strong. I kicked his groin area and ran outside. He caught up to me outside, immediately in front of the entrance, and violently pulled me backward by my hair.
"You bitch" he yelled and began to choke me.
I was struggling to breathe and I was begging him to stop.
"I'm going to kill you", he yelled and pressed me against the wall. He started ripping off me clothes. He was a beast.
"You're going to learn to respect a man", he said, pressed my neck and slapped me. He started kissing me and I began to scream.
"Help", I screamed. He covered my mouth with his hands.
"Raymond please don't do this to me. We're outside Raymond please.", I cried. He didn't stop.
"I want you so bad", he moaned and kissed my neck. He began to take off his clothes, and he pulled off my trousers
"Raymond I'm pregnant. Stop it please.", I yelled with a teary voice and he paused.
"You're what?", he said.
"I'm carrying your baby Raymond. Please don't hurt us". I said with tears in my eyes.
"You really think you can blackmail me with a child huh? It's like you don't know how ruthless I am Avani.", he smiled and cupped my cheeks.
He came closer to me and whispered;
"Guess what? I don't mind shagging a pregnant, sexy lady like you".
He pushed me to the floor and continued taking off my shirt leaving me with only my underwear. I started screaming and crying for help but he kept covering my mouth. I accepted that no one was going to help and he was going to have his way with me, so I gave up. All of a sudden a guy appeared behind Raymond and pushed him away. Jack. It was Jack.
"Avani?", he looked at me and he became even angrier. He turned to Raymond and began to beat him up. He pushed Raymond to the ground and punched him several times. I stood up immediately and put my clothes back on. I was shaking and crying.
"You idiot. You rapist. How dare you touch Avani?", he said and punched his lips. He kicked Raymond on his balls and hit his head against the wall.
"Oh my God", I gasped. Raymond was bleeding from his nose and mouth. Even though he deserved it, I felt bad for him. Jack was going to kill him. I needed to stop him.
"Jack that's enough please.", I screamed so loud. He was really angry.
"You try to rape a lady? You must be stupid. I'm calling the cops on you bastard." He used one hand to hold Raymond to the wall and used the other to take his phone out his pocket. He called the police.
"I'm going to make sure you rot in jail. Trust me.", he said and punched Raymond one more time.
"Jack please. That's enough", I said with tears all over my face. He put Raymond down and sighed.
"What are you doing to me Avani?", he said softly and shook his head.
"Are you okay? Hope you're not hurt?", he asked.
"I'm fine. I'm…. I'm okay.", I replied fearfully. I stare at Raymond and he looked really weak. He looked like someone whose life was hanging on a thread.
"Forget about him. If it were up to me, I'd kill him with my bare hands .", Jack said and held my hands.
"Avani, what are you doing to me?, he said desperately and wiped off my tears. He caressed my lips softly. The police arrived and Jack stopped. He reported the whole scene to the police and I was surprised they didn't even arrest Jack for almost sending Raymond to an early grave. The police drove off with Raymond.
"Avani", he said and put his hands around my waist.
"What have you done to me?", he added and bent down so I could see him well. He was really taller than me.
"I'm sorry if I cause you a lot of troubles Jack. I am so miserable. My life is full of misery. I'm really sor….." before I could finish my sentence he interrupted me with a kiss….
