Ji-hye, Kashigami and the guards finally arrive at the King and the Queen. their gazes sharp and questioning.
"So who is this intruder?" he demanded, eyes narrowing at Ji-hye.
A guard stepped forward, bowing slightly.
"We don't know your highness, she and that beautiful man just appeared in Princess Elaine's room." the guard answers.
The Queen's gaze flickered with suspicion
"So, are you spies, or assassins?" she asked, her tone cold.
Ji-hye quickly shook her head.
"I'm not a spy. My name is Kim Ji-hye, and that person my friend Kashigami" she explained.
The King furrowed his brows, turning to the Queen.
"What language are they speaking?" he asked, confused.
The Queen studied them carefully before replying.
"It seems like an ancient language of the Gods." the queen answers
The King's expression darkened.
"YOU TWO! ARE YOU TWO ASSASSINS SENT BY THE HOLY KINGDOM???" he shouts.
Ji-hye stepped back slightly, raising her hands.
"No. we're just passing by. We got lost." she tried to explain.
The Queen scoffed, her sharp gaze fixed on Ji-hye.
"You wrench, what language do you speak? How dare you sneak into our daughter's room!" she questioned angrily.
Ji-hye turned to Kashigami, her voice irritated.
"Wait, Kashigami, do they not understand me? even if they speak the same language?" she whispered.
Kashigami simply shrugged.
"Yeah, they don't." he replied, unfazed.
Ji-hye's eyes twitched.
"So riddle me this smartass. Why do I understand them?" she demanded.
"Because of my power" Kashigami said nonchalantly.
Ji-hye paused for a moment. Then thought of the most obvious answer.
"Oh, that's pretty convenient. BUT WHY THE HELL DON'T YOU MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND ME???" she snapped.
Kashigami sighed.
"I don't know. I'm the god of the universe, not the god of words." he said, his tone lazy.
Ji-hye stared at him before exclaiming,
"DID YOU JUST REPEAT THE SAME VOICELINE? WHAT ARE YOU? AN NPC???? can you stop being useless and do SOMETHING!?" she snapped even further.
Hearing their not-so-hidden conversation, the King's patience finally snapped. His face turned red with fury.
"WHAT ARE YOU TWO SCHEMING!? GUARDS TAKE THEM TO THE CELLAR" he roared, slamming his hand on the armrest of his throne.
The guards immediately obeyed, grabbing Ji-hye and Kashigami once more.
The Queen, however, raised an eyebrow and turned to her husband.
"Honey, why don't we schedule a mage to question them?" the queen suggests.
The King nodded, rubbing his chin.
"I was planning on that. I will ask the mage tower for their help" he agreed.
The guards drag Kashigami and Ji-hye to their cell
