Chapter 4:True form

A lot has happened these past two years.
I've started elementary school,and will start my second year in a few days.
During these 2 years I hadn't just laid around all day doing nothing, I've been training, training my body and quirk to the best that I currently could.
First I've been training to improve my stamina,cardiovascular health and at a minor level my agility.
Thankfully this part was easy as i've got tons of help from the kids at the park,as kids being the hyperactive gremlins that they were, gladly jumped at the chance to play games that involved any sort of running around.
For strength training, I decided to keep it even simpler, just pushups and squats and a few planks here and there.
Yeah not that impressive, but what can you do. My mother would put a stop to anything that was more than that in fear that I would hurt myself.
Anyway apart from training my body most of the time I'm training my quirk and boy have I made improvements.

"Flame on!!!."
I stood at my backyard staring at my body and concentrated.
Immediately flames started igniting all over my skin and started transforming my body into fire and plasma vapor.
"It never gets boring." I said to my self with a shit eating grin plastered on my face as I felt the warmth spread to every inch of my physique.
And yes I've finally discovered what my quirk was and how it worked.
The Human Torch, yes that human torch,
I've got the powers of Johnny Storm.
At first i couldn't believe it, I already felt like I hit the jackpot when I got a quirk similar to the fire fire fruit only to discover that I hit a much bigger jackpot than I ever thought.
Johnny Storm tho not the smartest tool in the box was a truly strong hero, not only can he control dangerously hot flames at a level close to a super nova he also can turn his body into a plasma form as I was currently doing.
'And he can also fly'. I thought excitedly with a smile on my face as I willed my self to float a couple centimeters of the ground.
After a few seconds of the ground as I was in my self absorbed power trip, I lost control and immediately fell head first into the ground.
"Oww" I released a paind groan as I got up to my feet and looked at where I fell.
"Shit…. Shit Shit!!!?" I mumbled rapidly.
"Moms gonna kill me!!."
The grass where I fell had caught on fire and was beginning to spread .
I quickly calmed down a willed the fire to stop and die out.
A neat thing i figured out was that I could also control flames outside my own body but not to the same level.
"Phew~" I sighed in relief.
"Harue"
I immediately started to panic again and turnd my flame form off.
"Harue dinners ready" Reina my mother called out while coming out to the backyard.
"Harue come insi- why are you naked!?" She stopped and looked at me with a questioning look in her eyes.
I froze and stared down to see that I forgot to take my clothes off when I transferred and burned them to a crisp.
"Wa- Wait!! I can… I can explain."
...…
And so passed the most awkward moment of my new life.
But not without being grounded for a day and doing all the house chores.
Today I was riding my bike to Mina's house that wasn't too far away from mine.
It has become a routine for me to pick her up from her house and from there for us to go to school together.
As arrived at her house I parked my bicycle n front and nocked at the front door.
I didn't have to wait long for the door to open and a woman who looked similar to Mina but only with long white hair answered.
"Good morning Ms. Ashido is Mina ready for school"
"Ohh morning~ Dai-Kun". Answered Ms. Ashido, Who as you may already guessed is Mina's mom.
"Yes she's all ready" I watched as she called out to her daughter.
"Harue!!" Mina rushed through the door and hugged me.
Ms.Ashido who saw this had a weird smile on her face.
'Oi oi what are you thinking you woman' i say inside my head as I saw her.
While outside I hug Mina back and ask her after breaking the hug.
"Mina are you all ready?" I ask.
"Yes." She answered with a smile
"Alright let get going"
I led us to my bike and helped her sit at the back, and as I started riding it I waved goodbye to Ms Ashido.
"Bye Ms Ashido see you later"
"Goodbye and be careful out there".
She waved back at us with a smile on her face.
