Chapter 9: U.A Entrance Exam
( 1 week before the exam )
" WHOA, Whadja do to to your Head?!!"
Shouted Mina while looking at Kirishimas new hairstyle.
" Is this your debut for your high school self?! Spiky red hair!!" She said while trying to touch his hair.
" DAMN STRAIGHT!!!, don't touch them though, you'll mess them up!" Replied Kirishima while swatting her hand away.
While looking at them arguing Harue sighed and said to Kirishima.
"It suits you Kirishima, you seem more manly now." He said with a light smile as they continued walking to class.
"Thank you Harue, I mean it" Replied Kirishima with a grateful look in his face.
"But this hair is not just to look cool!!, it's to signify the change in me"
"The new me who's never gonna regret about his inaction ever again, The me who's going to be a Hero who can protect others"
" I'M SAYING GOODBYE TO MY PATHETIC OLD SELF!!!"
He shouted with conviction which attracted a couple wired looks from the other passersby's.
"Or something like that" he said scattering his neck while trying to hide his embarrassment from being stared at by others and a laughing Mina.

(Exam day)
"Ughh…. I hope I did well on the written test, it was too hard" Complained a nervous Mina.
We were walking towards the next part of the exam after finishing the written part.
" You probably did fine, we revised a lot and you did well on my mock test." I answered.
As for me while I'm not sure I got a perfect score as there were a few trick questions that covered college level meterial.
But most were not that difficult for someone who was finishing high school and was preparing for college.
" Easy for you to say mister genius" she say with a hand on her hip the other pointing at me.
Our conversation continued and soon enough we arrived at the venue.
As we walked inside we saw Kirishima waving at us and pointing at the empty seats next to him.
"Where were you guys?, I couldn't find you anywhere." He asked as we approached.
"Well I was waiting for miss Pinky over here to finish her test" I pointed to Mina who stuck her tongue out to me.
"Man how can you guys be so calm?!, I'm dying of nerves over here." He questioned seeing us so acting so nonchalantly.
"You'll be fine dude so relax, if you can't pass then I don't see how anyone else could" I said trying to boost his morale.
After a few minutes of more people coming in, every seat seemed to be taken and everyone started to quiet down when someone walked to the podium in the center.
It was Present-Mic who began to talk.
" HELLO EVERYONE AND WELCOME TO MY LIVE SHOW!!!" He shouted at us.
"CAN EVERYONE SAY HEYYYY!!"
"...…."
"Tough crowd huh, ANYWAYS...." He continued with the explanation the same way as in canon by explaining the test and the scoreing system.
The familiar scene of Tenya Ida asking questions and berating Izuku for being annoying also happened.
As I stared at these scenes I turn to look at Midoriya.
Seeing the curly haired emotional mess of a boy, i thought to myself.
'Is this really the best that All Might could've found'
While Izuku did learn and bettered himself somewhat and grew some confidence on himself.
He still remained a pushover until the end and couldn't deal the final blow to a mass murdering psycho just because he felt bad.
Oh well, it's not like I could expect All Might to always make the perfect choice he's still human and lets his emotions affect his decisions just like the rest of us.

As I got ready and changed into my fire resistant underwear to not burn during my transformation.
As I walk to my designated area I turned and looked around at my competition, from some people that I recognized like the vine hair girl from class B to some completely unknown ones.
After a couple of minutes a loud voice rang out.
"AAND….START!!!!."
" Flame on "
I instantly transformed and sped through the sky.
The other contestants looked around in confusion when they suddenly heard the loud voice repeat.
"WHATS THE MATTER?!,THERE IS NO SUCH A THING AS COUNTDOWN IN A BATTLE SO START RUNNING!!!"
Immediately the crowd started running while pushing and screaming.

As i flew in the air, I got a Birds Eye view of the whole zone and immediately spotted a 2 pointer on one of the main streets.
"Well let's see what I can do"
I flew down to the 2 pointer and shouted
"INFERNO BEAM"
The robot was split in half by the bright plasma beam that hit it.
After that I flew and started searching for other robots.
'There' I saw a group of one and two pointers marching towards me.
I sped at them and stopped infront of them and puffed out my chest.
The next moment a massive fire was released from my mouth which engulfed the robots and made them a mangled mess of melted metal.
After finishing that I turned around I saw more of them coming my way.

In a dark room with multiple monitors on a wall in a group of dark figures we're watching and commenting on what was happening on the screens.
"A strict time limit and a vast battleground….. nothing's quite like it to bring everyone's potential into the open and uncover their skills." Spoke a small mammel like figure.
" The ability to grasp the situation quickly and accurately"
"Insight" the screens changed to show a man with multiple limps and eyes using them to search.
" The ability to stick a dynamic entry without ever being late to the party"
"Agility"the screens change and showed a tall black haired young man outmaneuvering his opponents and the other contenders with his speed.
" The ability to protect and put others before yourself"
"Defense" it showed a red haired boy using his body to protect and help others out of danger.
" The ability to overcome anything by sheer strength"
"Power" the screens showed a blonde laughing while destroying everything around him.
" And finely the ability to encompass all these things and more"
The screen finally stoped at at flying man who was covered in flames as he was destroying swarms of robots but also helping others.
'Young Midoriya you've seen to have got a lot of competition' thought a nervous Toshinori.
