Linggis sat silently inside the speeding car, his eyes fixed on the road stretching ahead. Amid the roar of the engine and the tense atmosphere, his mind began searching for a more effective way forward.
Elyysia, still busy monitoring the situation through her tablet, glanced at Linggis. "You look restless. Something wrong?"
Linggis smirked slightly. "The problem is that you're too slow."
Sola scoffed. "What do you mean? We're going as fast as possible."
"As fast as possible for you, maybe." Linggis grinned mischievously. "But I have a faster and more exciting solution."
Without warning, he pressed the emergency button on the car's dashboard. An alarm blared, and the automated system forced the vehicle to slow down and pull over to the side of the road.
"Hey! What the hell are you doing?!" Elyysia protested.
Linggis casually opened the car door. "I'm getting off here."
Sola let out an exasperated sigh. "Seriously? You plan to walk to the dungeon?"
Linggis didn't answer. He simply stepped onto the empty roadside and pressed a small button on the bracelet wrapped around his wrist. A mechanical sound echoed, followed by a subtle tremor beneath the ground.
Elyysia and Sola, who had been confused, suddenly fell silent as they watched a sleek yellow supercar with black accents emerge from a hidden spot behind the trees. Its headlights gleamed sharply, adding a futuristic and mesmerizing touch.
"N-Cleren?" Elyysia gaped. "You seriously brought that monster here?"
Linggis opened the gullwing door of the car and flashed a confident smile. "My secret weapon. And this isn't just any car."
Sola shook his head in disbelief. "Of course. If Linggis owns something, there's always a crazy twist."
