N-Cleren sped forward at high velocity, kicking up dust along the road. Elyysia checked the holographic map on her tablet, her face full of confusion.
"Hey, Linggis! You're going the wrong way! The dungeon is in the middle of the city!" Elyysia shouted, trying to overpower the roar of the engine.
Linggis remained calm, his hands steady on the wheel. "I know."
Sola frowned in confusion. "If you know, then why are you turning here? Don't like crowded places?"
Linggis smirked slightly, his gaze fixed ahead. "I don't like crowds, and I know I'm famous now. If I drive straight into the city center, it'll turn into a free public spectacle."
Elyysia sighed in frustration. "But Linggis, all the Hunter teams and the government are gathering there. We need coordination!"
Linggis pressed a button on the dashboard, projecting a holographic map of an alternative route leading to the outskirts. "I don't need coordination. I have my own way of handling this."
"And your way is?" Sola eyed Linggis suspiciously.
Linggis grinned mischievously. "You two are about to witness history—how I erase this SSS-rank dungeon."
Sola chuckled, clearly entertained by Linggis' confidence. "You're insane. But I like your style."
Elyysia still looked doubtful. "Linggis, if your plan fails, we could all die."
"If I fail, I promise I'll apologize in the afterlife," Linggis replied nonchalantly.
Sola leaned back in his seat with a smirk. "I have a feeling this will be the most exciting ride of my life."
The car continued speeding away from the city center, heading toward a more deserted area. Above them, the sky began to shift colors, showing signs of the anomalous energy from the dungeon that was about to open. Linggis stared ahead with a sharp gaze.
"This dungeon might be SSS-rank," he muttered, "but I've got an SSS-rank surprise for it too."
