Charlotte lowered her gaze and ran away toward the staircase. Entering her room, she locked the door and slumped down on the bed; her eyes brimming with tears.
'No Charlotte… This isn't the time to cry. You should fight your way out!' Her voice echoed in her mind, sparking a tinge of confidence in her. Getting up from the bed, she gazed at her reflection before the wall mirror.
