It was a cold and dark day...; well, in all honesty all days were cold and dark in the realm that exists between life and death, however this did not disturb the spirits traversing these lands for they were already stripped of such sense that could recognise warmth, or light.Â
Evenso, there was a soul seemingly living in this realm for as long as the realm itself may have existed, a soul that was not bound to the cycle of life and death, but they weren't immortal, the sole reason of their lack of mortality was that they have technically never took form outside of the realms of spirits, hence he wasn't boud to the cycle of life, but he was bound to the realm that guides the souls to the afterworld instead.Â
He was called: The Lamplighter of The Abyss, a fitting name, as the only purpuse of his being was to light the way for the astrayed spirits, and guide them to the Place of Judgement where their future shall be decided.Â
The Lamplighter passed his infinite time both by guiding the spirits to their resting place, as well as occasionally doing errands for extraterrastial being, he was mostly helping these beings in hope of finding about his own origins.
