She had noticed something unusual about herself, she felt stronger, way stronger than she was before. It was like she could lift a truck with one hand. Immediately questions had brewed in Emma's mind, so many questions that it had hurt Emma not to ask.
"What happened to me? Where did that otter thing go? Did I just-"
"I'll answer all your questions later, all you need to know now is that you're stronger now, way stronger than you were before. Unfortunately though you're still not strong enough, all you can do is run like a speedy pig in the problems I want you to face. And that's not what I need"
"Why can't you snap your fingers again to make me stronger then?" Emma inquired
"Because that's not how it works, If I could do that I'd just use that thing" The odd man said pointing at the tiny meatball that was split in half. "instead of using you," the odd clothed man finished
"So how do I become strong enough to do your jobs then? I want my wish you know!"
"It's pretty simple actually, for right now at least. Just eat that clumped up meatball I made. Eat it well I made it with love," The odd clothed man jested.
Emma looked at the spilt meatball with disgust, it had been at the floor for way more than 5 seconds. She considers herself a 5 second rule enthusiast but that piece of meat had looked horrendous and probably was extremely bad for her.
"Won't I just get sick from eating that? Can you just cook it at least if I have to?" Emma asked.
"You don't have much time till the otter is truly dead, just eat it up already" The odd clothed man ordered.
Truly dead? Emma had wanted to ask the odd clothed man about that, but her face looked, no embody the emotion of being annoyed because of Emma's persistence of curiosity.
She had grabbed the spilt meat ball, preparing herself to swallow it down fast. She opened her mouth and thought to herself, 'if I don't get my wish, I swear I'll….' And golfed it down.
Immediately after her mind felt like it was about to explode, one side of her brain was running from the other nearly breaking apart.
In the next minute she had already recovered, mostly because of the new found strength she had gained from being turned into human mush.
Emma gained a bunch of knowledge, Some relating to the humanoid otter, and the rest because of an ability she got. It was called the shape of you, or at least that was how the humanoid otter named it.
She could change shape to whatever she wished depending on how much people or spirits cared for her whenever it be negative or positive.
The humanoid had been gathering strength from the earth awhile ago. Its true identity was Kushtaka. It had been sleeping for a while till the odd clothed man had woken it up. Emma wasn't sure why he had done that.
Kushtaka had wanted to eat Emma, sensing that the odd clothed man had been around her. It could tell that he was powerful. Kushtaka had thought that he had been playing around with Emma before he was going to eat her. So it had wanted to save Emma by making her die faster before the odd clothed man had done it.
Emma was horrified by the humanoid otter thinking process, what if she wasn't going to get eaten in the first place?
Suddenly the clothed man had spoken up.
"Congrats you're a fully fledged spirit now! How do you like your abilities."
"I can shape shift, so is this good enough to do your work?" Emma asked.
"Yes, yes, Is that the only thing on your mind, you know some people would sacrifice their arms and legs just to become a spirit."
