Zorath didn't think much of Thalina's explanation about her powers. He just assumed cultivating them was too hard for her fragile little self. But that didn't stop him from freaking out.
"I'll take you to the palace doctor!" he declared with the urgency of someone announcing a world-ending event. Without another word, he swept Thalina into his arms like a knight rescuing a damsel in distress.
"Wait, the meat!" Thalina sputtered, flailing slightly.
"Forget the meat!" Zorath snapped, already storming out of the room like a bull on a mission. The roasted deer was abandoned mid-sizzle, but Zorath couldn't care less.
They sped through the palace halls, Zorath's long strides making Thalina feel like she was on a poorly managed rollercoaster. She clung to his chest out of sheer survival instinct.
"Do you have to run like this?!" she hissed.
"We're losing time!" he replied dramatically.
