"Like... on that bed? Together?" Thalina's voice cracked as she eyed the massive bed.
It wasn't like there wasn't enough room for the both of them—there was enough space for a small village. But did she trust this beastman? Not even a little.
"Quick, come here," Zorath commanded, patting the empty space beside him like he was calling over an obedient pet. His golden eyes gleamed with mischief, making her even more suspicious.
Thalina hesitated, standing frozen like a deer caught in headlights. Her mind raced. It's just sleeping next to him... Not like it's going to get me pregnant or anything... Right?
Taking a deep breath, she cautiously approached, each step feeling like she was walking straight into a trap.
Finally, she climbed onto the bed, but not without strategy. She slid all the way to the edge, practically pressing herself against the wall as if the distance could shield her from the hulking beast sprawled in the middle.
