Azrael: Well, gentlemen, I'm leaving. I'm in a hurry.
Cavalier Erika: Where do you think you're going? You have to heal Adara first!
Azrael: Yeah, yeah...
Azrael raised his hand from a distance, pointing at Adara. A flash of energy erupted from his palm, casting a healing spell that restored her magic and closed all her wounds.
Azrael: Alright, now I'm leaving.
Cavalier Adara: I'll kill you, Azrael! You have to stay here!
Without answering, Azrael disappeared, entering a portal that took him back to Sylvaris.
Nevaeh: Wow! Elves are amazing… and you, fairies, too! You even cook wonderfully!
Suddenly, Azrael reappeared.
Azrael: Knock, knock... Am I interrupting?
Nevaeh: How did it go?
Azrael: Well... I had to kill Crescent Sun 2. —he said, with a tone of fear, expecting Nevaeh to get angry.
Nevaeh: Are you crazy!? Now there's a vacancy for the Suns!
Azrael: Same here... They killed the Seventh Dark Knight. Anyway, the Fifth Knight was saved.
Nevaeh: Of course… She's my friend. Besides, she's far superior to me.
Azrael: Do you want to be powerful, Nevaeh?
Nevaeh: Do you have a way to make me powerful?
Azrael: Yes. But… you will gain dark powers. Then, once you master both powers, you'll be able to combine them. You'll be even more powerful than me.
Nevaeh: Incredible… And how will you do that?
Azrael gently touched Nevaeh's cheeks, making her recoil slightly, embarrassed.
Nevaeh: W-what are you doing? —she said, her cheeks reddening.
Azrael: Shut up, you little eater.
Azrael began transferring power to her, as if from a magical source.
Nevaeh: Enough! You'll run out of magic!
Azrael: Relax, little eater. I have infinite magic.
Nevaeh: Huh? Is that even possible?
After a few moments, Azrael finished the transfer. Nevaeh closed her eyes, and when she opened them, they were glowing an intense red.
Nevaeh: Do I look... more powerful?
Azrael: Hmm... Right now, I'd compare you to Crescent Sun 6.
Nevaeh: But how do I use this power?
Nevaeh was excited, though she didn't notice that her eyes, once as white as snow, had changed color.
Azrael: Hey, Nevaeh... I don't know if you've noticed, but your eyes are red now. Just like mine.
Nevaeh: What!?
Azrael: Hahaha... Now you're more beautiful than before.
Nevaeh: W-what? W-well, it's not that big of a deal, right? —she said, looking away, blushing.
Nevaeh looked at Azrael intensely and let out her deepest wish.
Nevaeh: I'll say it again, and I want you to remember it… I want you to join the Crescent Suns, Azrael. I want you to be with me… I want you to live with me in the kingdom, please.
Azrael turned his gaze away, a hint of sadness in his eyes.
Azrael: I know, Nevaeh. I also wish I could be with you… but, how is that possible?
Nevaeh: I'll convince the king. He always spoiled me when I was a child. Really, he's like a father to me.
Azrael clicked his tongue, pretending to be annoyed.
Azrael: Hmm, tsk... What a hassle! But if they kill me, it'll be your fault. —he said with an exaggerated expression of anger, which made Nevaeh laugh out loud.
Nevaeh: Hahaha! Come on, little one.
Azrael: What!? How do you call me little one!?
Nevaeh couldn't stop laughing, and her joy even infected Azrael.
Azrael: Hahaha... Well, you'll need to shower, right? —Azrael added, in a cheeky tone.
Nevaeh: Huh? How dare you talk to a woman like that?
Without waiting for an answer, Azrael lifted her in his arms and carried her to the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
Nevaeh: Fine... If you say so, little one...
While Nevaeh showered, her thoughts drifted to Azrael and how she could convince the king to accept him into the kingdom.
In the main hall, Azrael was talking to one of the fairy guardians.
Azrael: Hey, fairy friend, we're safe from all external surveillance here, right?
Fairy: Of course, visitor. No one can know you're here, not even omniscience would be able to find you. This kingdom is peaceful; we're not specialized in fighting, though some troublesome elves always cause a stir. But in general, we all get along, and we sing by the fire at night. There are only 7 powerful knights composed of elves and one fairy, the Anubis.
Azrael: Ugh... Too much sweetness for me!
Fairy: Hahaha.
Azrael: Well, I need to train Nevaeh.
Nevaeh came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. She quickly dried off, got dressed, and stepped out with her hair still damp, her red eyes glowing intensely. Azrael watched her closely, noticing every detail.
Nevaeh: What are you staring at, little one?
Azrael: Does a superior being need to explain themselves? —he replied, visibly embarrassed.
Nevaeh: Shut up, it's obvious from the look in your eyes.
Azrael: Well, if they really let me into your kingdom, I'll train you there... and I'll change my robe for a white one.
Nevaeh: Did you really decide? Are you sure about your choice?
Azrael: Yes... But only for you. And just so you know, if something happens to you, I'll destroy the kingdom.
Nevaeh: Your duty is to protect it, not destroy it for me!
Azrael: Yeah, yeah, little eater. Come on, let's go.
Azrael said goodbye to the fairies and elves, and opened a portal to the Kingdom of Light.
