Chapter 11 - Hello,Mother

Kael couldn't contain his joy as he watched her eat after finishing his food. I can't believe that she will become my wife. There's no reason for my father to reject her, right?

Kitsu finished her food as well and looked up at him, catching him glancing at her as she ate. She blushed a little and started fidgeting with her fingers in front of her. Why does he always gaze at me like I'm some treasured possession of his?

Kael got up from the table and started gathering the plates to clean them. As he was doing so, Kitsu got up as well, sat on the bed, and started watching him, lost in thought. What now? Are we going to sleep, or...? Will I be a good wife to him? Would he abandon me like my parents did?

Kael turned his gaze towards her after he finished washing the plates and saw her slowly closing her eyes, yet not sleeping—just waiting for him to get into bed. He asked, grinning with mischief, "Would you like to have a shower before sleeping?"

She opened her eyes and regained consciousness as though she had just barely slept. She started wagging her tail with excitement. "I would love to," she said, trying to sound as calm as possible, but it was obvious she was too excited to have a shower with him once again.

Kael turned his eyes to her tail and smirked. "Let's go then." He held her hand and helped her up. First, he adjusted the water in the tub, then added some shampoo, stirring it until it became bubbly. He slowly started undressing until he was left with only his boxers.

Kitsu watched as he adjusted the water and then undressed in front of her without hesitation. She seemed happy that he trusted her, though she was still a little embarrassed. She started undressing as well.

Kael got into the tub and started waiting for her. Watching her undress, he couldn't help but get excited. He was being affected by this girl. She slowly climbed into the tub and sat between his legs, sideways, leaning against his chest with her cheek resting there. She closed her eyes and started listening to his heartbeat. It was getting faster, and she smiled, kissing his chest.

Kael watched as she moved into his arms, leaning close to him. Unexpectedly, she planted a kiss on his chest, and he let out a little grunt.

"Kitsu, you're making it hard for me."

Kitsu looked up at him with innocence, not understanding what he meant. "Should I not do it?" she asked, looking sad and disappointed.

"I don't mean you shouldn't do it, but... Whatever, do what you want."

She smiled at him playfully. "Then I want to do this." She slowly raised her head to his neck and started kissing him there first, then licked it. She sharpened her fangs and bit him.

"Kitsu, didn't we talk about this? You should let me know before biting me." Kael closed his eyes in pleasure. He quickly wrapped his arms around her hips and pulled her closer. Kitsu finished drinking his blood, but her eyes were still glowing.

"Kael, your blood tastes so good. I want to drink it all day long," she said, resting her head on his chest again, relaxing with him as he rubbed her back. She slowly started drifting off to sleep.

As Kael regained his composure, he noticed that Kitsu had fallen asleep in his arms again. He got out of the tub and carried her to the bed. He put on a shirt and pajamas, then picked out some clean clothes for her as well. He wasn't able to provide a bra for her, though. He slowly approached her and kissed the top of her head. Then, gently, he undressed himself completely without looking at her. His cheeks were completely red. He quickly dressed her in his boxer shorts and shirt, skipping the bra entirely.

After finishing dressing her, he lay next to her, putting his hands behind his head. He stared at the ceiling, lost in thought. Tomorrow is going to be a hard day. I hope my father accepts her. I... I think I love her. Could this really be what they call love?

While he was lost in thought, Kitsu cuddled up to him in her sleep, wrapping her arms around him and her tail around his leg. She mumbled, "This tastes good, Kael. I want more."

Kael wrapped his arm around her and smiled. He tilted his head onto hers and drifted off to sleep, listening to her peaceful breathing and taking in her charming scent.

In the morning

Kitsu woke to a beam of light streaming through the window. Still feeling groggy, she fluttered her eyes, trying to fully wake up. She saw Kael still sleeping next to her, so she leaned closer and kissed his cheek, this time to wake him up.

Kael opened his eyes to Kitsu kissing him. He kissed her cheek as well, seeing her blush. "Good morning," he said.

"Good morning," she smiled.

Still a bit hesitant, she said, "Kael, I'm thirsty," trying to look as cute as possible.

Kael looked at her and sighed. "Come here, my little troublemaker."

She jumped on him and bit his neck again, feasting on his blood.

Kael squeezed her hips this time. She opened her eyes wide, then, in a coy voice, said, "Kael!!"

"Okay, okay, don't get mad. Have you finished drinking?"

She nodded her head and licked his neck, giving him a playful look in her eyes.

Kael scratched the back of his head and said, "We should get ready. My father will probably send someone to search for me if we don't go before noon."

Kitsu got up and made him get up as well. They began packing the necessary items together.

Meanwhile, at Kael's house:

"I told you, Bianca, I knew he would try to skive off from the work. Bianca, I shouldn't have let him go to that damn forest," Kael's mom replied.

"Relax, honey; he could come back anytime soon. You know he won't go back on his word. You're just overthinking because he's not accepting of marrying someone. You should try to understand his perspective for once."

Tarık looked at his wife, unsure if she was being serious. "But, Bianca, you know we have to keep the legacy of the company. This company has been handed down through generations for too long. He also knows he should be marrying a girl. He's almost 25. I want to be sure about the company's future before passing away."

Bianca replied, getting a little angry, "You know how hard it was for me to get married to someone before meeting you. Your father almost forced you into marrying a prostitute. Do you really wish the same to happen to our son? Don't you have any conscience? Give him some more time. I'm pretty sure he'll come up with a solution."

As she finished speaking, the doorbell rang. "Look, what did I say? He's come back."

She opened the door, and as she looked at her husband, she calmed down a little. Her mouth fell open as she turned to face the door.

"Hello, Mother."
