Chereads / Her Blood Donor / Chapter 15 - ''I love you.''

Chapter 15 - ''I love you.''

Kael woke up and saw Kitsu nuzzled all over him, wrapping her tiny hands around him.

Kael held her hand and started giving it short, quick kisses. Kitsu snuggled up closer to him. Kael smiled and kissed her eyes, her head, her forehead, and her nose, one after the other.

Kitsu opened her eyes to Kael kissing all over her face, and she let him do it for a little longer.

"Good morning," Kael said with a warm expression on his face.

"Good morning, Kael," she smiled back at him. Kael hugged her and started rubbing her back. Bianca called from outside. "Guys, breakfast is almost ready. Come down." Kael looked at Kitsu, whose face was still buried in his chest. "Kitsu, go get ready. We'll eat out." He turned towards the door. "We'll eat out; you can start without us." Kael turned back to Kitsu as his mom went further, kissed the top of her head, and got up.

He quickly dressed, with Kitsu's gaze on him. He smirked. "Have you had your fill?"

Kitsu looked at him, confused. "Huh?"

Kael approached and leaned closer to the bed. "You've been eating my body with your eyes."

Kitsu blushed and looked down.

Kael held her chin and lifted it, locking their eyes, their lips almost brushing. "I love you, Kitsu." Without taking his eyes off hers, he kissed her.

Kitsu frozen in place. Love me? Does he really mean it? Without her being able to think further, Kael kissed her again. She quickly returned the kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck.

After they kissed for a while, Kael pulled away and looked into her eyes. Kitsu said, embarrassed and hesitant, "Kael, I—"

Kael put his finger on her lips and said, "Shh, you don't have to say anything." He handed her a sweatshirt and a pair of shorts.

"You can get dressed. I'll be downstairs." As he headed towards the door, when he reached for the handle, he felt a hand gripping the back of his shirt. He turned around and immediately opened his eyes wide.

Kitsu was kissing him while on her heels. He closed his eyes and held her hips, squeezing them. He leaned towards her to make it easier for her to kiss him.

Kitsu let out a soft moan as he squeezed her hips. He smirked, their lips still touching as he heard her moan. For a while, they just kissed each other, as if they were becoming one. She tilted her head back after some time, breaking the kiss.

Kael hugged her a little longer, then unwrapped his arms.

"We should go now, my love. They'll ask us to come down if we don't get out soon."

Then he lifted her shirt and put the sweatshirt on her. He kneeled down, undressed her bottom, quickly put on her shorts, and stood up. He kissed her forehead before opening the door.

Kitsu's heart skipped a beat when he said, "My love." She smiled at him with affection and gratitude. She nodded and let him dress her. Kitsu smiled even more when he kissed her forehead, feeling a sense of safety and love. She held his hand, letting him take her downstairs.

His parents both smiled as they saw them coming downstairs, holding hands.

"We're going now. See you guys later." Bianca got up, fixed Kael's clothes and smiled at her son. "Where are you two going?"

Kael looked at his mother, fixing his clothes, and said, "We'll have some breakfast, then we'll buy her some clothes. She wasn't expecting me to propose when she came to Istanbul, so she didn't bring any."

Bianca nodded and asked, looking at Kitsu, "Where are you from, sweetheart?"

Kitsu hesitantly replied with the only city name she knew: "It's Izmir, ma—mother."

Bianca's eyes shined, and she hugged her, saying, "Thank you, sweetie, for calling me mother. Have fun." She turned to Kal. "And you, take good care of my soon-to-be bride."

Kael nodded and tightened his grip on Kitsu's hand. "Don't worry, I'll take care of her better than I do myself."

Bianca smiled and watched them walk toward Kael's car. She turned toward Tarık. "He grew up so fast. I still can't believe he'll be married in a week."

With tears gathering in her eyes, Tarık got up and said, "Time sure flies," hugging his wife.

Kael helped Kitsu into the car and sat in the driver's seat, looking at her. "Are you ready?"

Kitsu nodded. Kael started the engine and drove toward a restaurant known for its breakfast. As he drove, Kitsu watched him intently, her eyes wandering all over his face.

Kael noticed and put one of his hands on her lap, squeezing it. "Is something the matter, my love?"

Kitsu's heartbeat sped up once again, and she said, "I just zoned out, sorry."

Kael smiled and kept driving, his hand on her lap. Kitsu placed her hand on his that was on her lap and started watching outside. This is for sure one of the weirdest human crafts. I am moving while not... Kael neared the restaurant and looked at Kitsu, then turned his gaze to their hands, still intertwined. He lifted her hand and kissed her palm.

"We're here, my angel."

Kitsu turned to him, starting to caress his cheek as he kissed her palm. Kael leaned closer and kissed her, holding her waist.

After a while, they got out of the car and took a seat. Kael ordered some food and started watching Kitsu. She was inspecting the restaurant with curiosity. He smiled and held her hand.

Kitsu turned her gaze toward him and smiled back.

They ate their breakfast, then went to a nearby mall. Kael led Kitsu into a shop. Kitsu was so excited to see so many fancy dresses.

"Buy as many as you want. I'll be waiting here." He let go of her hand and started watching her as she picked out clothes.

He thought, She would definitely be wagging her tail if she hadn't shifted right now.

As Kitsu came with lots of dresses, Kael paid and started carrying the bags for her.

"Kael, you know I'm not human. I can carry them. It would actually be easier for me than it is for you."

Kael didn't seem to care and carried everything to the car.

"We can head home now if you want, or maybe we could do something else if you want to do anything." Kael said, waiting for an answer.

"Can we just head home? I'm tired."

Kael nodded and drove home with his hand on her lap once again.

When they got home, Bianca showed them a photo of a glamorous place. "I thought the ceremony could be done here, but I wanted to ask your guys' opinion."

Kitsu looked at it and said without thinking, "It's beautiful."

Bianca laughed at her and said, "Then it's settled. We'll be choosing your wedding dress tomorrow. Kael, could you drop us off at XXX mall tomorrow? I have a very reliable cloth designer friend over there."

Kael nodded and said, "As you wish, but what do you mean drop off? Can't I come with you guys as well?"

Bianca frowned and said, "Of course not. You can't see her in a wedding dress until the ceremony."

Kael sighed, "Okay, okay, don't get angry. I'll drive you guys to the mall tomorrow. Now, can we rest a little? We're tired."

He held Kitsu's hand and started going upstairs.

"Okay, I'll call you two when it's dinner time."

They got into their room, and Kitsu turned toward him and hugged him.

Kael hugged her back, smiling. "Did something happen, my love?"

Kitsu smiled back, leaning toward his neck. "No, I'm just thirsty." She bit his neck and closed her eyes, savoring the delicious taste of his blood.
