Chapter 12 - ''This''

Kael's mom quickly regained her composure and looked at him, holding hands with a beautiful girl. She smiled. ''Is this your girlfriend, Kael?'' with a voice barely above a whisper. Kael looked at Kitsu and smiled, he quickly turned back to his mom and nodded. ''Yes, Mother, she is, and we are thinking seriously.''

Kael's father wondered why did it take so long for his wife to open the door. ''Who is it, Bianca?'' Bianca held Kitsu's hand and dragged her into the house. ''Welcome, sweetie. We were just about to have lunch. Are you hungry?'' Calling Tarık. ''Tarık, come down.'' Tarık sighed and got downstairs and got shocked but didn't change his expression a single bit. ''Is this your girlfriend?'' Kael nodded. ''He said they were thinking seriously about their relationship.'' Tarık's expression didn't change again. ''Then we should hurry up and organize the wedding ceremony. By the way, are you pregnant?'' Kitsu looked down with embarrassment. ''No, I am not, sir.'' Kael held her hand. ''Dad, aren't you being a bit too much right now?'' frowning at him. ''You know the future of the company is important, so you two should hurry and bring an heir to the world.'' Kael's mom interrupted. ''Tarık, stop it, or you will be sleeping on the couch tonight.'' Tarık sighed in defeat and made a dramatic gesture, zipping his mouth shut with his hand. Bianca turned to Kitsu. ''What's your name, sweetie? And you still haven't answered—are you hungry?'' Kitsu looked at Kael as if she was waiting for him to say something. Kael simply nodded. ''It's Kitsu, ma'am, and y-yes, I am hungry.'' Kael's mother smiled. ''It's perfect. Then come take a seat. It should be ready soon.'' They all took a seat and started waiting for the maids to prepare the table with different kinds of food. Kael's mother smiled to the headmaid. ''Thank you, Sultan.'' Sultan smiled and nodded her head and got out of the room as she put the last pieces of food to the table.

They all started feasting yet with a nervous atmosphere. Bianca couldn't resist the tension of the atmosphere and asked. ''So, how did you two meet?'' Kael held her hand answered. ''We met years ago at a party. I didn't tell you guys because I knew Father would force us to marry, so I waited until she was ready.'' turning his gaze to Kitsu smiling warmly. Kitsu had no place to get embarrassed anymore, still blushing she nodded agreeing with Kael. ''How old are you, sweetie?'' Kitsu looked at her still being a little reluctant to talk. ''I am 21, ma'am.'' Kael's mother nodded and kept eating the food.

They ate in silence for a while, the only sounds being the soft clinking of utensils against plates. When they finished eating his father asked. ''So, when are you two getting married?'' Kael looked at Kitsu's eyes. ''We thought one week would be okay.'' Tarık smiled. ''What do you study, Kitsu?'' Kitsu looked at Kael as she opened her mouth. Kael didn't let her answer. ''She didn't go to college after high school.'' Tarık seemed interested. ''Was your family okay with it?''

She looked nervous and sad at the same time. ''My parents… they died when I was three. That's why I wasn't able to afford college expenses.'' Tarık's expression warmed up a little yet he still didn't loosen up himself. ''Okay then, you two can get married in a week. Leave the preparations to us. And son, you don't have to come to the company for the next month.'' Kael nodded and held Kitsu's hand. ''Now, if you'll let us, I would like to take her to my room.'' Tarık tilted his head with agreement. ''Bianca, you should make the guest room get prepared for the night.'' Kael responded without letting his mom talk. ''It's fine; she can stay in my room.'' Bianca replied, ''Okay then. If that's settled, I will go look for a suitable place for their wedding, and you should head to the company, honey.'' Tarık got up and let Bianca tie his bow(the tie was on the couch as they were eating). As he got to the front door he turned to his daughter-in-law and his son. ''Don't use protection.'' and he quickly ran out of the house trying to escape Bianca's wrath.

Kitsu didn't seem to understand however Kael blushed a little thinking. This old geezer when did he become this talkative? He held her hand and led her to his room as his mother yelled at Tarık, ''Don't even think about coming to the room tonight.'' Kitsu smiled. ''They are a lot sincere than I thought they would be. Even if your father seems so cold, he is actually a good person.''

Kael looked at her and hugged her sitting to the bed with her in his arms. ''He is actually a good person, but when it comes to the company he changes completely. I think he is obsessed with it.'' Kitsu's eyes wandered on his body as he tilted her head towards his chest relaxing after that nerve-breaking atmosphere down there.

''What did he mean by protection?'' she asked innocently. Kael smiled at her. ''Protection prevents babies happening after sex.'' She blushed once again and buried her face to his chest. ''But we aren't even that close yet.'' She said, panicking a little bit.

''Are we going to have sex?'' Still dying of embarrassment. Kael rubbed her back.

''Would you like us to?'' Kitsu tightened her grip on his shirt. ''I don't know if I am ready yet.''

Kael patted her head and said. ''I know. I won't force you into it.'' Kitsu relaxed with his words containing consideration and care. I really have made the right choice. I belong here this is the place I should've been all this time. As she was thinking Kael said with a playful tone. ''However, there is something we can do.''

Kitsu pricked up her ears with curiosity. ''What is it?''

Kael leaned closer to her and said ''This.'' As he claimed her lips with a passionate kiss.
