"You do know you almost died, right." Evangeline asked and the vibrant smile on Sereia's lips only widened more.
"But I didn't!" Sereia pointed out, flipping her hair out of her face as the wind whipped around them. "Thats the fun in it. I love it."
Evangeline shook her head in disbelief, yet a small smile tugged at her lips despite herself. "Have you ever considered the fact that you might be just a little suicidal?"
Before Sereia could respond, the holographic screen appeared in front of them, visible to both of them now and not just Evangeline.
Hadley had decided to make herself and the system seen by Sereia for some reason.
"I sense nothing good from this," Evangeline muttered as Hadley's face beamed with a smile.
"Congratulations," Hadley said brightly. "You made it out alive. Barely. But we do not have the luxury to celebrate, on to the next mission."
