The Demon Queen was reading a romance novel when hell suddenly shook violently.
"Your Majesty! Your Majesty, something bad has happened!" One of her loyal subjects ran into her chamber without knocking on the door.
His face looked unbearably pale for a dead soul as if he was afraid someone would kill him for a second time.
The Demon Queen didn't take his words seriously and sat leisurely on her throne. "Speak properly or I'll throw you into the cauldron."
The poor ghost servant fell to his knees, stuttering, "No … no … not the cauldron." He immediately straightened his back to speak properly. "The demon king has broken the prison hell's seal and he wants to kill you!"
The Demon Queen put down her romance novel, but she didn't look panicked after hearing the bad news.
One hundred thousand years ago, the Demon Queen staged a coup against the Demon King because she couldn't stand being humiliated and abused by her evil husband.
Since that day, she has reigned alone in hell and eventually got bored.Â
She only wanted to find the man of her dreams, but it was impossible for her to find that type of man in hell.
Boring. Boring. Boring.
Everything in hell was boring, so the Demon Queen thought it might be better if the Demon King killed her.Â
If she were lucky, her soul might be reincarnated as a human, but if she were unlucky, the demon king would annihilate her soul as well.
"Let him in," ordered the Demon Queen.
"But—"
The Demon Queen narrowed her eyes. "You hear me, right?"
Before the guards could answer, the demon king broke into the palace and killed all the guards outside.
Within a second, the palace split apart. Stone debris fell and flames raced around the palace. Yet the demon queen still sat leisurely on her throne, waiting for her evil husband to come.
A shadowed figure suddenly emerged from the fire, tall and terrible. The Demon King had finally come.
His eyes, burning with hatred for millennia, locked onto the Demon Queen. "Oh, how I wish to kill you for a long time, My Queen" the Demon King's voice growled, low and filled with malice.
The Demon Queen rolled her eyes. "You've done it for most of our time, My Lord. It's nothing new."
He had tormented her mentally and physically for as long as she could remember, so she was already numb to the pain and violence.
She stood up from her throne. "If you want to kill me for real, then do it fast."
That was right. Instead of living with a nightmare, it would be better if she could die soon.
Before she knew it, the Demon King had sliced off her head with his dark sword.Â
A sinner once told the Demon Queen that her senses could still be active after her head was cut off. She thought she'd never experience that, but it turned out the sinner wasn't lying.
As her head flew to the ground, she saw the demon king kick her body and then throw it away like garbage. There was no remorse or sadness on his face as if he didn't even know her.
She had been married to him for as long as she could remember, but never once had he shown her love.Â
To him, she was just a trophy, a possession to adorn his throne. When his trophy suddenly staged a coup against him and made up her own mind, he decided to throw that trophy away forever.
That was fine.Â
The demon queen was tired of living in hell anyway.Â
When her vision started to blur and she couldn't feel any pain anymore, a voice that sounded like a little girl suddenly rang in her mind.
[Ding! Ding! Congratulations! The system will guide you to find a sexy-hot kind-hearted husband!]
What was that?
Wasn't she dead? Why did she still hear someone's voice?
[Searching for a suitable body in a new world]
[Successfully find a new body in Arcion planet]
[Warning: The body's condition is weak so the user needs to level up before she can use her demon power]
Arcion planet? New body? Level up?
What kind of nonsense was that? Why did these words sound like a game that sinners used to play?
Before she could think further, the Demon Queen felt something pulling at her soul.
"She's waking up!"
"Hey, she's not turning into the Lost!"
"Hurry up! Call dr. Rory!"
"Miss Medeia, what are your feelings?"
The barrage of voices awakened her from the darkness. She hissed softly when the bright light came into her eyes.Â
Medeia? Who the fuck is Medeia?
She observed her surroundings and found a lot of people gathered around her, most of them were children.Â
Was she an orphan caregiver or something?
"Miss Medeia, I thought you'd turn into the Lost." A little boy cried beside her. His eyes became completely red and he rubbed his runny nose several times.
A sharp pain suddenly shot into her head, as if there were millions of needles pricking her brain. Memories after memories started to enter her mind, not hers, but the body's memories.

She rubbed her eyes several times to make sure that she really saw a flying hologram panel in front of her.
But before she could look at it longer, something happened.
BOOM!
Medeia—or whatever her name was—jolted in surprise as she heard the loud noise outside. The ground shook violently and everything in the room fell onto the floor.
Not long after, a bell tolled repeatedly, followed by a shout of horror, "The village is under attack! The village is under attack!"
A middle aged woman who dressed as a nun immediately pulled the children one by one. "Hurry up! Go to the cellar!" She ran toward Medeia and shook her shoulders. "Miss Medeia, can you walk?"
Medeia saw her in a confused look. Her mind was fuzzy because her memories overlapped with new memories. She couldn't understand the situation well in the middle of chaos.
"Miss Medeia!" The nun shook her once again, waking her up from her reverie. "We have to go! Can you walk?!"
Medeia nodded, then rose from her bed. At first, her legs trembled with every step she took, but as she adjusted to her new body, she was able to walk with ease.
"Sister Jeanne, I'm scared!" A little boy cried out loud as he followed the nun to the cellar's door.
Other children also cried with him, making their noisy voices echo through the hall.
So annoying.
If they were in hell, Medeia would throw all of them into a hot cauldron.
Sister Jeanne spoke in soft intonation. "Sshhh … don't cry. The hunter will take care of the danger, so we have to pray for their safety. That way, we can help them fight the monster."
Help my ass.
If they wanted to fight a monster, then the only thing they could do was take weapons and fight it until it died.
Wait … a monster? How could there be a monster in the human world?
Did her minions forget to lock up the hell monster again and let one of them run into the human world?
[Host, you are in a different world now! In this world, many monster roamed in human world and put humans in the misery for fifteen years]
Who the fuck was that again?
That annoying voice in her head made Medeia want to crack open her skull.
Crash!
Medeia covered her face with her hands as the wall beside her broke into pieces.Â
"Spi-spider! The mutant spider broke into the church!" a boy shouted loudly.
Medeia clicked her tongue and thought their act was too much. It was just a spider, so what—
—oh, it was a huge spider and it seemed so disgusting.
The lower part of that monster was looked like a spider, but it had a fucking human head!
[White Spider Mutant detected (Grade-D): Mutated Human / the Lost]
'Wait … that … that's human??'
[The Lost: People who could not maintain their sanity, so their mutant power controlled their bodies.]
The fucked-up world made Medeia thought that hell wasn't so bad.
The white spider stood in front of Medeia. Its head touched the ceiling while its eight hands reached for the children.
"Children … eat …." The spider's voice echoed in the church, bringing terror to the children.
"No! Don't take them!" Sister Jeanne tried to hold one of the five children, but the spider swept her off with a bang, making the nun hit the wall.
[Ding! First Mission: Don't let the spider eat the children!]
'Why? The spider looks hungry,' said Medeia in her heart.
[If you fail, the spider will also eat you alive]
