Emily woke up the next morning feeling groggy and disoriented. As she slowly sat up, memories of the night before came flooding back, and she was overcome with a wave of disgust.
She looked around the room, her eyes scanning for Christine. When she spotted her, Emily's anger boiled over, and she launched herself at Christine.
"How could you do that to me?" Emily shouted, her fists flying as she attacked Christine.
Christine tried to defend herself, but Emily was too strong. She pinned Christine to the bed, her eyes blazing with fury.
"Stay away from me," Emily spat, before storming out of the room.
Christine lay in bed, nursing her wounds. She knew she had gone too far, but she had been desperate for Emily all these while.
Emily felt a wave of panic wash over her. She knew she had to do something to fix the situation, but she didn't know where to start, She then decided to visit sophia and explained things.
Emily had arrived at Sophia's house, determined to explain what had happened. But when Sophia answered the door, Emily could see the anger and hurt in her eyes.
"Leave me alone, Emily," Sophia spat, before slamming the door shut.
Emily was taken aback. She had expected Sophia to be angry, but she hadn't expected her to shut her out completely.
As Emily stood on the porch, trying to figure out what to do next, Sophia's mom appeared at the door.
"Emily, you're not welcome here," she said, her voice cold and unforgiving. "You've hurt Sophia deeply, and she needs time to heal."
Emily felt a wave of despair wash over her. She knew she had messed up, but she had never meant to hurt Sophia.
As she turned and walked away, Emily couldn't help but wonder if she would ever be able to make things right with Sophia again.
